Oh you might be able to beat me (though I doubt it), but you can never beat God's Holy Word, boy.

The world is exactly as God says it is. Not you, not me, just God. You can stamp your feet and throw a hissy fit and hold your breath 'till you turn blue, but Jesus always wins.

Don't worry, eventually people with such ideologies represented by partial members of this forum will die out, leaving the world some what more intelligent (and better off) than those that inhabited it 40 years ago.

What possible purpose would capable governments of this planet (i.e. US, Britain, Germany, France, Israel, China, Japan, Russia, some South American countries and other European countries) that posses the technology to explore space and launch satellites have to just up and say the earth is spherical in dimensions just to mess with people. (assuming that was their goal).

Yes, when Sputnik was first launched, followed in later years by the first US launch, US and Russia both got together (since they were on such good terms back then ) to conceive this evil plan of world domination by just saying the earth was spherical. Wow, that makes a lot of sense, glad you guys cleared that up. Really.
