I would be most interested in seeing the chapter and verse in the KJV Bible that shows God telling us the Church of England is appointed by God.

Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

Scripturally (not to mention practically) that doesn't make any sense.

I do believe that your country is currently ruled by a woman () which would be in direct violation of 1 Timothy 2:12 ("But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.").

Admittedly I just googled for a piece of scripture supporting my argument but reading it has brought some questions to mind if I may ask

these verses basically saying that all those that are in power are ordained by God does that mean that any scripture damning someone who is in power for whatever reason e.g. the Queen being female cannot be subject to other scripture, or at least not by man?

not entirely sure if my question makes sense, hoping someone understands what I mean

This is what happens when unsaved trash try to make sense of the Scriptures without guidance from the Holy Spirit. Lacking the discipline to commit to serious study of the KJV 1611, you are unable to rightly divide truth.

                  II Timothy 2:15-16
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.

Lacking the fruits of the Spirit, you are simply unable to comprehend the breathtaking majesty of God's Word. You lack spiritual discernment and are completely out of your element here.

                  I Corinthians 2:13-15
Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

In short, just do yourself a favor and stop trying to twist Scripture in a vain attempt to make the teachings that form the foundation of our cherished beliefs sound internally contradictory. You're only making yourself look like a fool.
                  II Thessalonians 1:7-9
And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power

The man who is being progressively sanctified will inescapably sanctify his home, school, politics, economics, science, and all things else by understanding and interpreting all things in terms of the Word of God and by bringing all things under the Dominion of Christ the King. -R.J. You misunderstand it and have it backword.
                      It means:
....all those that are ordained by God are in power....
In laymans terms, if a person is in power, it is by the Grace of God(c). God only blesses those He deems worthy. If He deems a person worthy, He may bestow upon him power.

                      Pretty simple.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Thankyou James you have cleared it up a bit for me. Looking at the scripture again that is more accurately what it says. I've also realised that I had a question and didn't search to find if the question had already been answered in another thread, which I will do now.

I particularly like that the author has done the math in the footnotes.
Hi, im really curious. But you seem to assume that people never pee with that "proving atheists wrong"
Our pee will be recycled. Here is an example:
Let's say water evaporates into the air, the rain falls down, the rain wash away everything that is on land including stuff we dont want inside us for example the leftovers from a dead animal. But as handy as our planet is, it will filter away the bad stuff and leave the rest for us to drink.
And by combining hydrogen and oxygen, you can create water, as proof, i did it in school ^^. There are also other ways, for example, water may be created when you combine or create acids.
Ecclesiastes 4:5 The fool foldeth his hands together, and eateth his own flesh.

Christianity is never 'refined', it is adapted to modern society. In fact usually adapted whenever science completely disproves a belief beyond doubt.

Hi, friend. Around here, "adapting" Christianity or the Bible to modern scientific reality is viewed as blasphemy:

Revelation 22:18 "For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:".

So if you see any "Christian" adapting, that's a false Christian, a hypocrite.
