What makes me think I can come here on this forum and discuss the bible? My mind, my perfectly healthy normal sane mind, the one that doesn't believe in god, yet the same one who doesn't want to provoke (but you're almost getting me to.)

I'm sorry I have to tell you this, but people, who can actually think, all over the world make fun of me. The reason I found this site was from a collection of informative pictures etc, the one starting this tread was one of them. People learn from that. People come to this site for knowledge.

First of all I'm not here to question the existence of a divine deity, nor deny it. I simply wish to explain how water is not a finite resource.

When water is consumed by all living creatures, be they men, animal or plant, the use water to function. When the function has been fulfilled, water will be extruded from the body. This can be done by exhaling, transpisring or urinating. The amount of water extruded from body will, unless the water was used in a chemical reaction (such as electrolysis, where water is converted into hydrogen and oxygen.), will always be the same. Therefore, the amount of water on this planet will always be the same.
To answer the questions about where this water goes, transpiration and exhaled breath vaporize, ascend to the skies and form into clouds, from which it rains and returns to the earth. Water urinated that is not relocated to a sewage will sink into the earth where the soil will filter it. From there it will return to the oceans, rivers and lakes to be consumed once more.
When a creature dies, the water is holds will also vaporize, to test this one could simply put a leaf in a transparent plastic box, such as a Tupperware box or such. Because these are nearly air-tight, the water will not be able to exit the box. When the leaf starts to slowly wilt away, you will notice that there is condensation forming inside the box, proving that the amount of water from the leaf has left it and is now in the air inside the box. Further prove can be gained from weighing the box. The box, when obviously shut air-tight will always weight the same as the contents of this box will not change.
All in all this should be relative proof that water is not a finite resource and if the amount of water consumed by all living things would be higher than the amount available, they would simply die and the population growth would stagnate. Also note that vast amounts of water are stored in glaciers as ice and as humidity in the air we breath. In some places on earth, deep inside caves, the humidity is so high people would "drown" by the sheer amount of water they would breath.

On a final note I would like to say that this does however -not- prove the age of the planet, it does however show that water is not a finite resource. Thereby proving the original poster's argument moot.
Furthermore, if God created this planet would He, in His infinite wisdom, not have forseen a growing population and made water, being the essence of life, an infinite resource allowing life to continuously cycle on His planet? I would certainly think so.

Your assumptions are wrong sir, I do not deny the Lord, therefore I am not an atheist, furthermore I do not believe men has evolved from monkeys, that would be ludacrous. The truth lies elsewhere.

Lastly, your self-righteous claims of being a pastor do not make you a better person than me or any other person, thinking so would be a sin would it no, for the Lord has created us all as equals and only He is able to judge our actions. Since He works in mysterious ways, we cannot begin the phathom His intentions or opinions on individuals. Because of this I suggest we shed this accidental hostility and live in harmony as children of God.

The Bible commands us to judge. Jesus only forbids hypocritical judgment in Matthew 7:1-2. Why would God command us to do something you say we cannot do? Answer: you are wrong.

Leviticus 19:15 Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.

Psalm 37:30 The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment.

Proverbs 31:9 Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.

John 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

The Bible says to judge our neighbors in righteousness (Lev. 19:15). So we are allowed to judge, as long as we do so in righteousness.
