Why argue against his awe-striking power to make a massive, beautiful, and amazing universe at his word?
You've been on the moon? I am sure we'd all love to see your snapshots!
Sorry, but ;the moon landing' has been proven time and time again to be a hoax, just like that 'educational program' about 'Star Trek' and the historical one called 'Star Wars'. All made by joos in Hellywood with a singular purpose to pull a pigskin over your eyes while they rob you blind.
People say the moon is very large, yet it is the size of a ping pong ball. They say 'Well, look at it with a telescope, you will see how large it is!', well, use that same telescope to look at my bunion and you will think you are looking at a mountain. Nope, just a bunion. Have you ever looked at an ant under a magnifying lens (just before the suns rays that God makes cause it to boil inside and explode). It looks like a beast larger than a elephant. Yet we know that not to be true.
Science verifies Gods word. He has explained the four corners of the Earth, the Perfect design of the firmament, Heaven and Hell. No one else has come up with a actually plausible explanation for gravity other than 'Intelligent Pulling'.

at Mr Toole's post. If the ocean was that shape, all the water would flow to the sides instead of the middle.

Yours is a lovely photo, Sister Basilissa, and it made me think about what Brother Phil said in the previous post. I understand about the distortion of the glass + the lens (it would be even worse if the person was also wearing spectacles!) but I noticed that the aeroplane window is also curved at the bottom, which sort of confuses the eye into expecting the curve to continue round.

I know many (most?) Round Earthers are just vexatious, but maybe others are genuinely deceived? It would be nice to feel I could at least give them the benefit of the doubt.

How do you explain the curvature of the planet? Weren't you on a plane before? (I suppose not, because the plane would not support that stupidity that the Earth is flat... )

Yes, I have been on a plane. I even took this picture as proof of the flatness of the earth as seen from the sky:

I added the red line in Photoshop for emphasis.

    I hope that is helpful.

The earth is flat because the Bible says it is. That's all the evidence I need.

When you are in an aeroplane and looking at the horizon, you are looking through glass. Glass has refractive properties which can distort the image your eyes see. You have also taken a photo through the glass, and the refractive errors just add up when you consider the lens of the camera and its properties.

Also its possible a "round" world zealot has put a bit of photoshop in it to make the horizon fit his crazy belief.

It is very brave of you to take yourself so seriously, when it is obvious that no one else does. Do have fun playing Atila and don't forget to clean up your room.

How do you explain the curvature of the planet? Weren't you on a plane before? (I suppose not, because the plane would not support that stupidity that the Earth is flat... )Come on, this was discussed by Galileo Galilei, and he proved that the Earth is round! From which era are you from, the Prehistoric Era? You act high and mighty, explain everything with your "Religious Science", while I know no damn thing. Nothing. Can you explain the time-dilation effect on very high (near light) speed? Can you explain the mass-energy equation? Can you eyplain how our moon orbits the planet (I think you can, but that'd be garbage, religiously skewed views, irrelevant to scientific studies) and our planet orbits the sun? Can you explain how the Galaxies have an infra-red dilation on their light-spectrums? The Bible is not at all that holy. It is just a fu<king book. You can say that I'm militant or arrogant, which, you aren't wrong. I'll ask the question: "Can there be an universe where is no god?" Let's suppose that there is an universe where no god exists. Does that universe function as a normal universe functions? Of course. Does it have the same properties of our universe? Sure, let's suppose that the same factors and arguments are fulfilled when we look at the two universes. Again, does it function as an entirely normal universe? Yes, it does. Is it our universe? How would I know? But I still say that there is no god in this universe or in any universe we could visit. If there is, I'd love to meet this so called god. Where is it? I don't see it. So? I think our universe is without a god, because it does not need one to function.

This is not what He says in the Holy Bible:

    1 Corinthians 1:19-21
19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.
20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

And the "heavens" would include planets, stars, and all the other wonderful things God has made.
    God is amazing.

He is amazing. According to the Holy Bible - the only evidence we have of His existence - He created all of these lights on the firmament so that we can know the passing days and seasons:

    Genesis 1:14-16
14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

Why argue against his awe-striking power to make a massive, beautiful, and amazing universe at his word?
If we start to say that the bits of the Holy Bible which talk about lights on the firmament are alternative facts, what if people start questioning the other bits - the ones that say that God exists?!

Where and how would we draw the line between real news and fake news, then?!

You've seen the Mars rocket landing through a telescope?

And there's nothing in the bible that says there is only earth and nothing else.
Of course there isn't just the earth. There is the firmament, and the waters above the firmament. Duh!

Just because you saw it doesn't mean it's real.

You're right, Sister, but I think it all started a long time ago and it's the work of Satan. Long before this Spielberg man we had Buck Rogers in a gold lame jumpsuit, speeding around the universe in a rocket ship and carrying a .38 special that worked in outer space. We had Orson Welles pretending there was a Martian invasion. We had the Angry Red Planet and Lost in Space. This Hollywood/homosexual/communist agenda has been at work for at least 90 years or so and probably longer than that.

This person, Helper, is obviously a product of the new space age way of thinking, which is a denial of God and an invitation to sin. His smug self absorption is proof of his pride and self assured feelings of superiority. This is what happens when you take Jesus out of the schools for a couple of generations. In some areas, people like this Helper are said to be numerous. I fear for Christian civilization.

Unaccountably, the Bible fails to contain a comprehensive list of everything that doesn't exist. Can you work out why that might be?
