The Earth is not orbiting anything. The Scripture has been posted frequently.

The Scripture is contridcting what your eyes are seeing.

The thread is about OTHER planets, and the "science" getting sprayed around here has nothing to do with the thread title.

When you're taking about other planets, I'm assuming you're talking about planets, such as Mars, Jupiter, Saturn etc. Like I said, they are real. You can see them with your eyes. That's a fact which you cannot deny. They orbit the same why the Earth orbits.

But, if other planets would exist, how come they don't crash in to us, "when we cirulate the earth".

The sun is in the centre of the solar system. We orbit around it, which is the same with all the other planets orbiting around the sun at different distances, therefore, no crashes. Asteroids, on the other hand, is a different story.

And if the sun would have been that big, we would have been melted. Plz...

Why did you ban him, then? If you wanted he to make a introduction forum thread, the only way possible is if he had an account - that's logic. If someone got something wrong, I wouldn't ban, kick, scream, bully etc. at them. I would help them understand the truth. You should have guided him to the 'truth' isn't of banning him which may have resulted in him not acknowledging the 'truth'.

Where does it say in the Bible about electronics? About computers? You're sitting in front of one right now, yet the Bible has not said anything about the technology used to create this site.
Fact is, if you go out into the countryside without the light pollution from cities, you can clearly see stars. If you just view it in the right time, there will be a 'star' that does not flicker. That, in fact, is not a star. That's a planet. Try it once you have time to do so. Even if you don't even want proof that planets are there, you can do with some fresh air now and again.

There is a difference between something The Bible does not mention, how to make a nut loaf for example, and something The Bible describes as EVIL.

Or which is described as GOOD (or even neutral).

But which is contradicted by demon possessed maniacs intent on getting everyone into the pit.

So God doesn't say anything about computer software because He is happy for us to find out about that for ourselves. He knew all about computers, obviously, just like He'd have known about nut loaves or Rolls-Royces. That's up to me, do I prefer some candied lemon peel in my nut loaf? would I rather drive a Porsche? is Linux any good? [NO, YES, MAYBE]

God does mention planets:

II Kings 23:5 And he put down the idolatrous priests, whom the kings of Judah had ordained to burn incense in the high places in the cities of Judah, and in the places round about Jerusalem; them also that burned incense unto Baal, to the sun, and to the moon, and to the planets, and to all the host of heaven. KJV

Check out the title of the thread, it's not about "planets" but "other planets" and the context is that communists and heathens say the Earth is a planet just like Jupiter is a planet. I don't know what that other goon was on about, Jupiter is pretty easy to see. It's one of the brightest things within the firmament! But the Earth is not a planet.

The Earth is not a planet, and there are no "OTHER bodies" like the Earth. There are no "OTHER planets" such as the exoplanets of mythology. That's what this thread is about, not whether Jupiter is a planet. It means wanderer, and it is easy enough to see them wander - rather like catholics roaming from The Truth, or those 7th day nutbags adventuring far away from God's Inerrant Word.

Not that this Hatchet poster would understand any of that.

Hi Brother! Of course other planets is just a myth. I used to belevie they where real before I found God. Yes, they are very large, yet you can't really see them clearly. That's because that they are really, really far away, so while they're large, they're not large enough to be easy to make out in our vision.
Still, I would like to point out that Jupiter is visible to the naked eye if viewed in the right conditions.

You can, however, they are far away. The further you get away from Earth, the smaller the object (planet) gets.

Which it is. You can calculate it using mathematics. We need to measure the distance between Earth and another planet, in this case Venus, in terms of the distance between the Earth and the Sun. From doing this, it made us humans know the Sun's parallax.
