2nd Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

The photos I've show you are from a good telescope. If you want to see the planets like these photos, then you'll need to use a good telescope. If not, then you can use binoculars, even though not that much details. If all else fails, then you've got your own eyes.

Many major observatories and planetariums provide this sort of info (and you have a good planetarium in Richmond), as does Sky & Telescope magazine, on their websites. Anyhow, low in the west at sunset you have Venus and Jupiter. In a week or so they will be joined by Mercury. Saturn rises near the time of sunset. You can see uranus at any point between May and September from your position.

For websites, this is likely the easiest and most 'user-friendly' that I'm aware of.

Satellite predictions and other astronomical data customised for your location.

Enter your location (several different ways possible) and then look at the 'whole sky' - and enter the time of the evening (and date..) you are interested in. The sky chart given can be printed out - and if you hold it *over* your head, you will see that east/west/north/south correspond (they don't if you hold it 'down').

I don't think Photoshop existed in the 70's.

Anyway, you know that isn't not from Photoshop because, clearly, you have shown you don't know what you can and cannot do on Photoshop. You can see the planets with your own eyes or from other equipment for better detail.
    Oh. So you lied. Gotchya.
You cannot see them, you need 'special equipment' like what Mrs. Etheldreda displayed.

I saw the following this morning.

You can see the planets with your own eyes. You can see the planets through a telescope which was made by professionals & companies for the reason of exploring space. There is NO need to fake this. Even if they did, with millions, if not, billions of people around the world having telescopes, and there was not one person who could prove it's fake? You can dismantle the telescope and look at all the electronics inside to see how it was made. You can build a telescope yourself, if you had the knowledge, and get similar, if not, the same result looking at the planets.
Telescopes don't have electronics, they have mirrors a a hollow bit in the middle.

Me too. They're simply a gadget, just like the viewfinder.

I can see stars with my own eyes, but I can love God with my whole heart.

People have been trying to justify rejecting God's Will since the beginning of time (Genesis 3:2-6).

People have proven Allah isn't the One True God, but millions, and billions of muslims around the world don't believe it. People have proven evolution isn't real, but millions, and billions of scientists still go on as if it were. There's a lot to be gained for proving one's false beliefs, dear.

That seems like an awful lot of trouble to find out what I already know: God's Word is sufficient for all things (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

Why do you continue to deny Him? What's in it for you?

That's completely fine with me, but i just want to ask, does that mean you have to deny what you can clearly see and calculate?

Maybe you should focus more on Your Walk with Jesus and less on shortcomings of other Unsaved Trash.

When you're taking about other planets, I'm assuming you're talking about planets, such as Mars, Jupiter, Saturn etc. Like I said, they are real. You can see them with your eyes. That's a fact which you cannot deny. They orbit the same why the Earth orbits.
You have the burden of proof my friend. You come onto our privately funded forum and tell us we are all wrong and expect us to simply take your word for it. Please. That is not how things work. Scripture is what we base our beliefs on, pure and simple.

Well, maybe they weren't mentioned in the bible because they hadn't been descovered yet. Also the world isn't 4 billion years old. It's 4.54 billion years old. If you believe in God, then why do you hate people who aren't like you? Didn't God say to love thy neighbor, and treat others as you would like to be treated?
