I know this might come as a surprise to you but these startlingly original thoughts you are having aren't actually all that original. And they don't seem to be all that effective when it comes to denting the faith of the faithful.

I too am a man of god, and have accepted Jesus as my personal savior. I have done this because I have seen proof of his existence through the kindness of others.

I find this an interesting position.

So, only Christians are kind, yes? Because Jews, Muslims, Hindus, atheists, Sikhs, etc. all deny the divinity of Jesus. Since your evidence of Jesus' existence is the kindness of others, I'm sure this is supported by the evil inherent in all followers of the false religions.

Can you share some examples?

Now, as far as the Genesis creation and Adam and Eve, I do not personally believe in the story literally.

Which parts of the Bible are literal, and which are "just fables of the Cthulhu Mythos"? How can you tell which is which?

If some parts which say that they are real history are actually "just fables", then how do you even know Jesus is real?

Well friend, if you are asking if I have looked into a lake then yes, I do it many times during the spring when I am sght fishing for Bass.

It is a glorious technique, and I have used it to win many a Bass Fishing tournament. I tell ya, there ain't nothing like the feeling of sinking a hook into a very large and ferocious Bass under the annointing of the Lord.

Peter felt it, and it was so important, that Jesus mentions it in the Bible.

I use a Hartk Parker, right handed bait caster, and a Skeet Reese Rod. Actually, I have about 34 of them I keep on the boat.

Evercast,is currently working on a personalized signature, bait caster for me. It is taking them some time to get the gears just right. I will not settle for anything less than excellence.

The non-Christian astronomers thought they could come up with a good alternative explanation to the Bible. It appeared to work when describing the current state of the universe. But when asking about how everything was Created, the only viable solution is the LORD. Any attempt to put God out of the equations have resulted in ridiculous large numbers (age of universe), divisions by zero (black holes) and contradictions (cosmological constant which is said to be wrong by a factor of 10^120).

I am just waiting for the scientific community to admit that the answer to those so called unsolved problems is the Bible. With the possibility of a near-future rapture, they really have, or they will be left behind.

Scientists will never admit their errors. They have adopted a totally faith based position and will not back down no matter how much evidence that they are mistaken is put before them.

Come soon, Lord Jesus and we'll see who admits they were wrong then.

I've even heard that false scientists calculate a "red shift" some sort of stretching of light due to the heavens expanding. Light sources near to the earth they say have a lesser red shift and those further away exhibit a greater redshift. Even by their own warped standard this "stretching" is centred on the earth, arranged in shells of increasing red shift the greater the distance from the earth. Now of course we know that the sun is quite close to the earth, but even if we measured this phenomenon as if viewed from somewhere other than the earth, it would always be "out" by the distance of that alternative centre-of-the-universe[sic] from the earth.

Warp and twist as they will, it always comes back to God.
