What is there to think about? We have the word of God, no thinking is required.

Animals are there for our need, they are a there for food or to be used as labor saving devices.

If you take them all then the food supply will run out. This is not about loving the 'cute little birdies' this is about managing the stock.

This is the equivalent of keeping your car serviced, nothing more. Just sensible advice.


That is why God killed the animals of Egypt. It was just like taking away their farm machinery. If animals felt pain do you believe that our loving God would have killed them?

am I really whining or stating observations? In fact this thread has very little to do with "the good lord". It's mostly about animals and if they feel pain or not.

We have dominion over animals. That means we should dominate them. Would a loving and existent God tell us to dominate something that can feel pain as a result of it?

Yes, you really are whining. This thread has everything to do with the Good LORD. If you'd read the OP, you would have seen, "God in His mercy has apparently spared animals the awareness of pain."

You see, the LORD is so gracious that He offers this treat to animals even though they don't praise or worship Him, nor has any single animal ever sacrificed anything to Him. They're stupid and defecate in public and yet He is so merciful that He doesn't punish them for their insolence. If you can't see that as being GOOD, then maybe you should whine a little less and listen a little more.

For you information I tried to take care of these animals and most got better. They healed from these wounds and went on and as far as I know lived full lives. The ones that didn't still plague my memory to this day.

Oh and mister Eskimo, you don't have to worry about the father, he probably isn't coming after you. But I hope you used all the parts or you are being wasteful.

well here are some real life examples too think about. I poke a cat with a needle, it screams and runs away, then hides from me and never trusts me again. I poke a Tiger or bear with a needle... well you get the point. An animal, in which we can be classified as, can there for feel and register pain.

To mister Swedish Eskimo, allot of people care. If we didn't have animals we would die,end of story. Second, every thing feels pain so it doesn't hurt it's self (in fact trees feel pain too). An animal will not hold any part of its body in to a fire because it hurts.

and to you killing a polar bear cub for food, and you still being alive, good job but might I mention it wasn't the smartest choice. first off it doesn't have allot of meat on it (its a toddler for crying out loud) and secondly it is high rick because the mother may not be far behind. Personally, I'd watch my back from now on, sense the mother may be out for revenge or just to make you a meal.

Sorry, but i forgot to mention that i also shot it's mother, i am currently making an anorak (eskimo coat) of it's skin as i'm typing.
My igloo is surrounded by a ring of polar bear traps that will snap if it's father moves anywere near my igloo, and i'm heavly armed with high powered rifles that are specifically designed for polar bear hunting. But when i kill the cubs, i just use my hakapik, you know bullets are quite expensive!

As a matter of fact, I'm not stupid enough to poke a tiger or bear with a needle seeing that I at least value my life that much. But as for cats, no I have not harmed any and feel that you act of harming them is absolutely deplorable. To kill in spit or anger an animal that is on this earth is wrong, especially ones that rely on you for its food. It does comeback because you are the only one it can trust for its food and shelter, that doesn't make it dumb. If you had to rely one someone who did what you did you would do the same thing to stay alive.

Son, you have inadvertently come to the point of God's Favorite Forum on the internet's web. YOU may value your life, but while your soul is encrusted with sin, God cannot see that value. The ONLY way to let Him know your value is to believe in Jesus Christ as the Redeemer of the world and your only true Savior (1 John 1:7). Confess with your lips that He is the LORD (Romans 10:9) and allow Him to be your one and only Master (Matthew 6:24) and then your life will have value as one more soul singing the praises of His Holy Name in Heaven for eternity!
