I have an enquiry about LEVIATHAN Isaiah 27:1

In another thread the question came up:
    • "Do we know what leviathan is or what is the hue of its skin?"
    • is it this one? Click image for larger version

    Re: LEVIATHAN

Here's a picture of one, I rest my case and look forward to it appearing on your pallette:

    All the best
    Genesis 7:5
And Noah did according unto all that the LORD commanded him.

    John 8:32
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

That is a good match with the sample [above] - RGB hex value 041fff (neck), 0209ff (tail).

I'm not sure about deviant art

In any case as a sea monster it would look blue from the surface..

Thanks for that additional information. I have waited two weeks (excluding the 7th days, of course which as days of rest commanded by God are not appropriate for the waiting activity) so that makes 12 days altogether and I am more than happy to go with the Blue Hypothesis; thank you for proposing it.

Job 41:31He makes the deep boil like a pot; he makes the sea like a pot of ointment.

This obviously means that the leviathan is in fact a lobster.
If I had a nickle for every time I see a man damning himself to an eternity of pain and suffering,God would get an infinity of nickels.

and since he is a lobster and that he makes the sea boil and the color of a boiled lobster is red, then the leviathan is red

Lobsters only turn red when they are boiled, and thus dead. The Scripture in question clearly describes a Leviathan that is NOT dead, so even if it was a lobster, it wouldn't be red.

                I'm thinking paisley.

                  Re: LEVIATHAN

Job 40:19 the leviathan can only be killed with a sword,so if he where to be boiled he would not die.

So not a lobster, so not red.

obviously a lobster of the size of the leviathan could only be killed by the sword of God(I'm sorry I forgot to mention that it was the sword of God)

Thank God for creating a creature that would form such an exact compromise!

Lobsters do not have fire. How do they boil water?

And if you're thinking "deep ocean hydrothermal vent" I would remind you that they cannot be punished with a sword either.

this is no normal lobster, but the leviathan!

Psalm 18:8 Smoke went up from his nostrils, and devouring fire from his mouth; glowing coals flamed forth from him.

Job 41:18 His sneezing flash forth light, and his eyes are like the eyelids of the dawn.

PSALM 18:6-8 In my distresse I called vpon the Lord, and cryed vnto my God: hee heard my voyce out of his temple, and my crie came before him, euen into his eares. Then the earth shooke and trembled; the foundations also of the hilles mooued and were shaken, because hee was wroth. There went vp a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth deuoured, coales were kindled by it.

CONTEXT: always helpful when reading God's Inerrant Word. With context interpretation is never necessary. . WHOLE PSALM HERE

JOB 41:1a, 15a, 18-22a Canst thou draw out Leuiathan with an hooke..? His scales are his pride.. By his neesings a light doth shine, and his eyes are like the eye-liddes of the morning. Out of his mouth goe burning lampes, and sparkes of fire leape out. Out of his nostrels goeth smoke, as out of a seething pot or caldron. His breath kindleth coales, and a flame goeth out of his mouth. In his necke remaineth strength..

OK, this one is actually about leviathan but let's have a look at some of his characteristsics:
                              • SCALES - lobsters do not have scales
                              • NECK - lobsters to not have a neck
plus 26 others some of which might apply to anything but most of which certainly do not apply to lobsters. . WHOLE CHAPTER HERE

This subject falls within the purview of the Creation Scientists however and although I can post Scripture, when a question arises (such as the actual hue of this creature) I defer to them.
