Turning one's back on your nebulous friend who (probably) thinks he may (or may not) exist would be like rejecting (or accepting) the option of 250 micrograms extra in your early morning kool aid. Nothing would happen. Or nothing that wouldn't have happened anyway. If it was your last drink ever perhaps you'd die from dehydration a nonosecond sooner but I doubt it.

Our God is the true God. He is described in The Bible. Rejecting Him has real consequences. Death and everlasting torture in hell. Forever. We know He does not accept everyone because if He did He would not have WARNED us about HELL.

Accepting Him leads to rejoicing, leaping and ETRNAL LIFE.

Where do you get the idea that God will accept anyone? Even John 3:16, which so many people think means everyone is going to Heaven, is very specific that only believers will be saved.

Don't believe me? Here is what it says:

(John 3:16) "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

This is explained in more detail just a couple of verses later:

(John 3:18) "He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."

Try reading the Bible instead of guessing what God said.

In order to avoid punishments being inflicted, either upon oneself or one's grandchildren or great-great-great-grandchildren it is necessary to follow God's Just Law. So often I hear that The Law ended with Jesus, but that is not what He said and altogether they are hoist with their own petard. Just consider The Ten Commandments. Jesus referred to them. Is it now OK to murder? (of course not) To bear false witness? To steal? (of course it isn't and they know that and it is The Law which tells them so)

If The Law were no longer current, sacrifice would no longer be necessary and what would be the point of appealing to The Blood Of Jesus as that sacrifice?



Here is what God instructs us about His Law:

You will see then that the diseases and plagues you mentioned are covered by God's promise here. He does not say He might do these things. He says that He will do these things. That is why, for man, deliverance is impossible.

But for God, ALL things are possible.
