Which bits of the Bible have you unilaterally decided we should do or not do?

What criteria would you use to override what the Bible tells us God wants?

The same can be said with the moon and it rotates around the Earth. Its really quite simple to understand and Im sure god was meant for this to happen because if he didnt, then planets could be floating around randomly and risk colliding with each other but the gravitational pull the sun creates, makes sure the planets stay on their own paths and no risk of colliding with eachother

If what you say is true then please explain why did God fitted the Earth with pillars?

    1 Samuel 2:8
He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD's, and he hath set the world upon them.

    Job 9:6
Which shaketh the earth out of her place, and the pillars thereof tremble.

So you trust your science teacher over the word of God?

If you don't believe God's word why are you not an atheist?

Thank you for that incredibly detailed and concise explanation. I suppose if we asked where babies come from, we'd get an equally involved answer like "ladies tummies".

Here's a tip. If you have nothing to add to a discussion, don't.

Yes but they are all taught the lies that they want you to believe. They want to drag your soul to Hell by denying God.

I think Bill O'Reilly said it best when he said "Tide comes in, tide goes out - explain that!"

Without God there is NO explanation!

So if you are not an atheist how did you find out about God and why do you not believe what he says?

Nothing can just stay on the side of a ball, let alone a moving one.

    Argue that, atheists.

    Psalm 93:1
The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved.

We all know that atheists talk nonsense but that is mostly fueled by their hatred of Jesus. What I can't understand is the so called Christians who don't believe that the Earth is stationary and supported by pillars. If they think that the writers of the Bible were talking primitive bullshit why would they believe in the same people's God??? I would love to hear an explanation.

That's not what this thread is about moron. This is about what holds the earth up, which as we all know, is like a flattened disc held up by pillars. Sort of like this, but bigger:
