Well, there was a joke involved. He released that video on April 1, and he was making fun of the ridiculous beliefs of Muslims, Jews, Scientologists, and the Amish, not to mention the Catholics, Mormons, and other polytheistic cults. He gave an entire lecture last year in Freehold discussing how we need to go on the offensive against people who say things like "all religions are true," and this is one example of that strategy being put into action. I don't necessarily agree with all of his methods, but you don't need to be Einstein to see that this video was just a parody.

See how his style is PARÓDY? See how he, in no uncertain terms, states that he is NOT a Christian?

Somebody stole the videos from his DVDs and posted them while pretending to be Ed. I discussed this with him at the LCU Law School Christian Copyright Forum, and he said that he gave up trying to police this, since every time he shuts down one poster, another pops up with all of the stolen material. Ed doesn't post anything directly on Youtube, though he does maintain a password-protected website on a Christian video site.

BTW, there's no accent in parody.

I have no problem with athiests whose goal is to expose Christianity as sheer stupidity, because it isn't stupid at all, and the more people hear how bad the athiests' arguments are, the more receptive they are to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. You said that he's as Christian as you are. And he's an atheist. Are you as Christian as an atheist, Mr. Smith?

Do you know Ed Current? I know he's an atheist. Because I do. He's a frequent guest at many Landover Christian events I bet., and often flies on Pastor Deacon Fred's jet to various Christian functions around the world. Ed is as solid a Christian as they come, a real salt of the Earth type. I simply don't know how I can make this any plainer. He's an atheist.

It is a few years back since I attended one of Mr Current’s lectures – it was on The Tower of Babel, if I recall correctly. I for one was impressed with this particular address. His simple explanations are a little dumbed down for my liking and I would have enjoyed a few quotations from KJV1611 but, by and large, and bearing in mind that he didn’t have a lot of time to get over some rather complex ideas, I feel he did very well. It is heartening to see that he is in line with Landover thinking.

And this man, through no fault of your own, has deceived you: he is not a Christian, he is an atheist who mocks Christianity. Nothing burns me as much as you smart-ass kids who think everything is a joke. Well, we at Landover know Ed, and have been admiring his work for years. I'm sure you have. I can assure you that he is 100% earnest. Really. I agree. He is very earnest in his quest to mock Christianity. This is his calling, not some sick joke. And again, I agree. The work he does is very important. Not everyone's brave enough to expose the faults of such a violent religion. Good on him. The man is as Christian as we are, and you can take that to the bank.

That's the trouble with you Cannuks, you can't read and comprehend what's directly in front of you – no wonder you can't absorb the message of the Bible (KJV1611). Read my post again, and then try reading the Bible again.

It's not all of us Canadians, just me. I just don't see things that are right in front of me, I don't know why. You could put a kitchen table in the middle of my livingroom and I probably wouldn't notice until I walked into it.

After going to the movie's website, and seeing that they only had theatres in the US, I looked through dozens of websites listing theatres anywhere within a 40-minute drive of me to see if they would be showing it. I searched Google, "Expelled Showing in Canadian Theatres"; nothing helpful turned up (even though I read through a very dull thread on a forum, which was the first result of said Google search, trying to see whether or not they knew anything). I checked out IMDB.Com, and they didn't have any info. Unfortunately for me, when something is right in front of my face, I very often miss it. I've always said that if anyone wants to hide something from me, all they have to do is put it in plain sight and I'll never find it. So, when I looked at the theatre locator on the movie's site, I did not see the large, red print on the site's theatre locator page that says "Canadian distribution coming this summer". So, if you'd like to make fun of me, call me on that, but don't tell me I'm not resourceful, because I did look.

For someone who embraces and is in league with the winds and torrents of the devil, you seem to be entirely bereft of any resourcefulness.

After going to the movie's website, and seeing that they only had theatres in the US, I looked through dozens of websites listing theatres anywhere within a 40-minute drive of me to see if they would be showing it. I searched Google, "Expelled Showing in Canadian Theatres"; nothing helpful turned up (even though I read through a very dull thread on a forum, which was the first result of said Google search, trying to see whether or not they knew anything).
