Here is a tried and tested argument that should be in every Creationist apologist’s repertoire. Secular scientists have proved that the bumblebee can’t fly. Its body is too heavy and its wings too small and too slow to generate enough lift. Yet of course bees do fly. If your own eyes aren’t enough to convince you, there are three verses in the Bible that prove it (Deut 1:44; Jdg 14:8; Ps 118:12). It makes you wonder what else scientists have “proved” that defies reality (like evolution). If there is no natural explanation for how bumblebees fly, then it must be the God of the Bible who makes them fly. Jesus Himself sustains all things through the power of His Word (Heb 1:3). The humble bumblebee is a wonderful testimony to God’s creative power and His continuing role in sustaining all life. Atheists/ evolutionists are without excuse for their unbelief (Rom 1:18-32). The bumblebee has intelligent design written all over it. It was very intelligent of God to design a bee that couldn’t fly.
