Ms. Savant being referred to as a witch causes me to take exception as she was correct. You came along with your zealot spin and said it was kosher to judge when there's imperfection. If you don't see the hypocrisy as a result, then sorry, you can't be helped.

Just where did I judge her to be a witch? Or at all?Originally posted by klaus 74 View Post...If her answer was perfect, then it is wrong to judge her based on that. Therefore you ARE a hypocrite.

Re: The Monty Hall Problem Debunked
Anyone like to suggest that these two methods of winning the car are equal?
1. Pick the one right door from three and stay
2. Pick EITHER of the two wrong doors from three and switch
Since I know the second method wins twice as often as the first, does that make me a witch too?

The Bible says no such thing. It instructs the faithful to judge everyone, and to helpfully warn those who are not perfect like they are to shape up before Jesus comes back to kill them (and a full 1/3 of humanity) with a sword coming out of His Mouth.Originally posted by klaus 74 View Post...Wow, I thought we weren't supposed to judge...

I am someone who knows the Monty Hall problem. I have read some comments here that I disagree with, such as that Ms. Savant is a witch. Really? Because she answered a math problem correctly? Wow, I thought we weren't supposed to judge. Or is that one of the rules of your cult? To judge.Originally posted by Ezekiel Bathfire View PostThank you for taking this special time out of your busy schedule of spraying obscenities on subway walls to type random nonsense.
As I have no idea who you are, why not go to the Introduction Forum, tell us who you are, which Bible verses you love, and confess your sins and beg Jesus to forgive your past errors?
Another reference was that Monty Hall is a Jesus killer or something to that effect. Well, the Monty Hall problem was created by a mathematician and it has never occurred on the game show he hosts!
So do your home work, instead of being such a hypocrite.
Oh and by the way, how do you win 50 times out of a 100 tries with 67 WRONG doors? You can't, because you are an idiot.

Really? And what do you think goes on behind the doors the contestant first chose? Is there not either a goat or a car ALREADY there, before the host reveals a goat door? What do you think happens to the 67 out of 100 doors that contestants have first chosen that already have a goat behind them? Aren't those 'wrong' doors STILL wrong after the host reveals the other goat? Do 17 of those 67 goats become cars so that each door can win 50 times out of 100?
I really doubt it.

Re: The Monty Hall Problem Debunked
The satanic origin of "The Monty Hall Problem" - which, as Brother Pendergast has so aptly demonstrate, is no problem for Christians - should be apparent from the fact that its namesake Monty Hall is a Christ killer who hosted a game show ("Let's Make A Deal") where the purpose was for this crafty joo named Hall to swindle God fearing Christian men and women out of their hard earned dollars.
More like a deal with the devil if you ask me.
Yours in Christ

Why do you bring up the monkey's again? Are you attracted to them in a carnal way?Originally posted by karosyrup713 View PostI don't worship monkeys, please do not assert as such.
Brother Pendergast has not 'blown my theory out of the water'. It is not my 'theory', it is not a scientific 'theory', it is even a 'theory'. It is a mathematical proof.
Brother Pendergast made assertions that one should not change doors.
I gave evidence why there is a better chance of winning the car if you do change your choice of doors.
My dignity is not on the line here as this has nothing to do with my personal opinions, the correct solution to this problem is always the same regardless of my personal opinions.
Anyway why do you keep repeating yourself time and again. All you are doing is putting yourself in a loop of circular logic.
In God's eye you are nothing but a grasshopper.
Isiah 40:22
It is he that sitteth vpon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grashoppers; that stretcheth out the heauens as a curtaine, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwel in

Brother Pendergast has patiently explained to you that he is only interested in the Monty Hall problem in so far as it relates to Christianity.Originally posted by kaos713 View PostBrother Pendergast made assertions that one should not change doors.
Let me try a little exegesis: How do Christ's sheep find the strait gate? The one that doesn't lead to the goat (Satan)? Nothing could be easier:
John 10:7 Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.
John 10:8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.
John 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
The explanation is easy: JESUS IS OUR DOOR. He died for our sins. Forget about cars (worldly goods) and goats (Matthew 25:33). Jesus is the only one in all heaven and earth who has died for you and me. Enter trough the true door (Jesus) to receive the Ultimate Prize (Salvation).
