Re: The Latest Darwinista Craziness
Not necessarily, the force of friction is enough to over come the shift towards entropy. That is actually one of the theories about how the big bang got its energy was that when you ahve a superdense mass all it takes is one more particle to unbalance the system that one more particle could ahve created friction or exerted a force on the individual atoms. Take stars for example: to get a star to go from Super Giant to Super nova only takes the unbalanced force of like 2 hydrogen atoms

Re: The Latest Darwinista Craziness
So where does this energy come from, if not God? Energy is not all that is needed to restore order in a deck of cards, an intelligent designer is also necessary.Originally posted by Brother Phil View PostTo answer your order out of chaos question, maybe you should look up the chaos theory. It clearly states that though the universe does have a tendancy towards disorder energy can overcome this pull towards entropy and create order: For example if you drop a deck of cards off of the empire state building you will notice that they do not stay to gether on the way down (chaos) then to make them a stack of cards again you need to exert energy!
Or take a super saturated solution of table salt, NaCl. When that solution is sitting in a glass it is in chaos. But if energy is applied to the system there will be chrystalization (order) chaos to order happens on a daily basis

By the way those points are borderline retarded! You dont have one cogent argument! If you actually knew what darwin said you would realize that those points are complete crap.

Re: The Latest Darwinista Craziness
You like most Creationist christians probably have no idea what Darwin actually said. If you do i would love to be proved wrong... so go ahead, tell me in your own words what darwin actualy said!

Re: The Latest Darwinista Craziness
I suggest that you read the Holy Bible, and perhaps THIS thread as well.
The idea that the universe was created by no one out of nothing is crazy. So is the monkey-soup theory. But you guys are entertaining, Ill give you that.

Re: The Latest Darwinista Craziness
No we actually have physical evidence to support our claims... you have a book written by men... let me guess you think that the world is only 6000 years old dont you?
Hey if you need proof we can slice your brain open and stick it under a microscope. that way you could see these cells for your self. But wait you are probably not smart enough to have enough to actually distinguish them from the other stuff.

Re: The Latest Darwinista Craziness
Actually, Humans and dolphins do have brian cells that are not very common in the animal kingdom. THey are called Glial cells. THe Glial system is like the chemical nervous system. Nerves opperate based on electro-static potentials (voltage) where as Glial cells opperate off of chemical messengers by way of diffusion. Glial cells seem to correlate heavily with Intelegence. Humans and Dolphins are the top of the evolutionary chain. These two species have characteristic highly advanced logic skills as well as an ability to comprehend. What sets Dolphins and Humans apart is our ability to obtain what we want not only what we need to survive.
Spindle Neurons are another good example of highly advanced Neural cells that also seem to correlate with intelegence. Actually with the new research on These Spindle Neurons, there is the possiblility of a cure or atleast an aid to alzheimers. This can be done by studying the way that these neurons develop their signature spindle shaped protective layer (mylon)

The Latest Darwinista Craziness
Ok, get ready for a good laugh. The monkey-worshiping eggheads have come up with another "new theory". Are you ready for this? They are now claiming that if a fish is big enough, then it must be HUMAN!
I swear, these fools get wackier every day!Humpback whales have "human" brain cells
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Humpback whales have a type of brain cell seen only in humans, the great apes, and other cetaceans such as dolphins, U.S. researchers reported on Monday.
This might mean such whales are more intelligent than they have been given credit for, and suggests the basis for complex brains either evolved more than once, or has gone unused by most species of animals, the researchers said.
The finding may help explain some of the behaviours seen in whales, such as intricate communication skills, the formation of alliances, cooperation, cultural transmission and tool usage, the researchers report in The Anatomical Record.
Patrick Hof and Estel Van der Gucht of the Department of Neuroscience at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York studied the brains of humpback whales and discovered a type of cell called a spindle neuron in the cortex, in areas comparable to where they are seen in humans and great apes.
Although the function of spindle neurons is not well understood, they may be involved in cognition -- learning, remembering and recognizing the world around oneself. Spindle cells may be affected by Alzheimer's disease and other debilitating brain disorders such as autism and schizophrenia.
I'd like to see a whale use a chainsaw or drive my Lincoln Navigator. If they're so smart, how come the japs keep tossing spears through their skulls and chopping their brains up into sushi burgers?
