The Government has changed the rules to preclude all Academies and Free Schools, both those that already exist and those that will open in the future, from teaching God's Truth as really real. Humanists, of course, believe this to be a victory.
As science advocate Ken Ham explains,
The Book of Genesis is excruciatingly important for those who desire to know about the world around us.
If we don't teach these valuable lessons to our children, they're likely to grow up thinking these things never happened! They're likely to grow up ignorant of the necessity to control certain impulses like autonomy, or vegetarianism. They're likely to think marriage is about two consenting adults making a formal commitment to one another, legally uniting their property and civil responsibilities rather than recognizing it as a union between God and one man and one woman (or one man and one woman and her slaves [Genesis 16:1-4], or one man and a captured slave [Deuteronomy 22:28-29], or one man and a purchased child servant [Exodus 21:7-11], but I digress), preferably of the same race, ethnicity, socioeconomic background and political party (anything but to a God mocking atheist).

In this day and age, I consider Genesis, out of all the other books of the Bible, to be the most attacked, scoffed at, and ridiculed—from within parts of the church and outside. You see, because of the indoctrination in the belief evolution and millions of years through the education system and media, many people believe that Genesis 1-11 cannot be taken as literal history. As a result, such evolutionary teaching is a stumbling block to many non-Christians even listening to the gospel from the Word of God—and many people in the church are put on a slippery slide of unbelief in the Scriptures as the infallible Word of God.
- Nowhere else will we learn that light producing objects (the sun and the stars) were miraculously created the fourth day of existence (1:14-19), after light itself (Genesis 1:3-5)!
- Nowhere else can herpetologists find evidence of talking serpents (Genesis 3:1),
- No other garden in existence is protected by flaming swords that not only holds the Tree of Life (Genesis 3:22), but miraculously evades Google maps (Genesis 3:24). Genesis alone tells us of this garden.
- Where else can we study physiology and learn secrets from the longest living human, Methuselah, who died at the ripe old age 969 (Genesis 5:27), or why man now lives no more than 120 years (Genesis 6:3)?
- Where else will historians know of the union between angels and women, creating monstrous half-breed demonic-humanoid offspring (Genesis 6:2-4)?
- From no other source on earth does it make sense to warn a child against using his imagination. The Book of Genesis alone tells us specifically just how much that enrages the LORD (Genesis 6:5; 8:21).
- Nowhere else can the student of geography understand such mysteries as the Grand Canyon to be anything other than tangible evidence of the LORD aggressively destroying all life on earth to make the world less violent (Genesis 6:11-13).
- Nowhere else can cosmologists know the existence of the Window of Heaven (Genesis 7:11).
- Without Genesis, man would not be assured that all animals fear him, even the shark or bear who doesn't always remember this (Genesis 9:2).
- From no other source can the historian learn the truth of the spontaneous creation of multiple languages in a single afternoon (Genesis 11:7).
- Only by the Book of Genesis else can obstetricians assure their barren old patients that if God wants them to produce a child, He will personally see to it that their pruned up old uterus is no longer a hostile environment to new life (Genesis 18:11-14).
- Nowhere else can man learn how to successfully negotiate with the Creator and future Destroyer of the World (Genesis 18:17-32).
- From no other source can we learn such insights into the homosexual psyche that finds angels more irresistible than Justin Timberlake (Genesis 19:1-5).
- From no other source can man know the morally acceptable thing to do when confronted with hosting angels who are *this close* to being anally bombarded by a gang of insatiable gays is to offer virgin daughters instead (Genesis 19:8; 2 Peter 2:7-8).
- Nowhere else will chemists see the relationship between obedience and salt (Genesis 19:26).
- Nowhere else can doctors who work with male erectile dysfunction learn the sweet spot between being so drunk a man doesn't recognize his own daughters, and yet sober enough to ensure his manhood performs like a workhorse (Genesis 19:30-38).
- From no other source can man learn the fine value of blessing women with enormously powerful uteruses so that thousands of millions of babies will be produced in order to take land away from those who hate them (Genesis 24:60).
- Nowhere else can culinary masters learn the inherent value of lentil soup (Genesis 25:33-34).
- Only in the Book of Genesis can we understand the mechanics of genetics when applied with faith (Genesis 30:37-39).
- Only in the Book of Genesis do we know that wrestling is a man's sport, not, as some might try and argue, an excuse for two men to grease themselves up and struggle, slip, and slop around each other (Genesis 32:24-30).
- Only through the story of Tamar, the widow of Er and Onan, who were killed by God (Onan for masturbating; Genesis 38:9-10), can we know the value of Divinely Sanctioned prostitution. You see, only in the Book of Genesis do we find Tamar propositioned by her father-in-law to allow him to respectfully rid himself of the burden of his seed (Genesis 38:27-28), thus producing a child, Pharez, who is to be an ancestor of Jesus (Genesis 38:13-18; (Luke 3:33).
