In short, if you don’t worship God, and you don’t do it right, God will send some mad, pagan, tyrant to slaughter, rape and rob you and then set fire to you in no particular order!

I see no reason to celebrate the shame of not loving God.

Re: No Easter Egg Hunt in Freehold

I ran a campaign when I was in middle school with my church to ban Easter egg hunts on the basis that they were training kids to be homers. Little boys and girls finding rainbow colored eggs hoping to find a “surprise”. The real “surprise” was for the parents ten years down the line wondering why they’ll never have grand kids.

My church’s campaign had to be clever in order to convince the town that Easter egg hunts were dangerous as well. Threw in the argument that pedos would have eggs hidden in their back yards and cellars and such. Wouldn’t you know it though, it worked! No Easter egg hunt in my town for the past 7 years.
My name is Maxine Levantine. I am 17 and follow the KJV Bible to a T. If you are wanting to hit on me you can turn away. THIS is reserved for Jesus and my future husband (whoever that may be).

I often attend the Central Park Easter Egg Hunt, where I discreetly place plastic eggs containing Chick Tracts inside. I have faith that the Holy Spirit has brought many to the Savior through this ministry.

It just goes to show you that Jesus can use anything for His glory.

Re: No Easter Egg Hunt in Freehold

I got the same call last night I've gotten for years. "Mayor, where is the Easter egg hunt?"

I try to be patient but when our own citizens here in Freehold do not recognize Easter eggs are Pagan, we have work to do. Children need to know Easter is not some happy, happy time. It's when the Jews killed Jesus. Explaining year after year Freehold does not allow an Easter egg hunt just does not seem to sink in.

My advice to parents who want some kind of fun and memorable experience for their small children at Eastertime is this. Take them to hear Pastor Zeke's Easter sermon. Tell them not to squirm, whisper and draw pictures. Explain to them this is their special time to learn about sin and that the Jews killed Jesus.
Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

Amen to that, Bro. Mayor Hold. Here in the Lukes household we hold a screening of The Passion of the Christ on the Saturday between Good Friday and Easter Sunday. Mel Gibson may be an Aussie Catlick Hollyweirdo, but his depiction of the Jews in this film is spot on:

Much more appropriate for Christian children than pagan egg-laying rabbits. Say, who named it "Good" Friday anyway? That's the day the Jews tried to kill God! I'm inclined to think it was them, given that this was the foundational moment of their grotesque religion.
I was sinking deep in sin far from the peaceful shore,
            Very deeply stained within, sinking to rise no more;
But the Master of the Sea heard my despairing cry,
From the waters lifted me, now safe am I!

I agree, great documentary about the Jews. How could anyone see this movie and not believe the Jews killed Jesus? It's right there in front of them.

I drove by the New Life Church of the Nazarene this afternoon and there were about 50 little Nazarenettes seeking eggs on the vast lawn surrounding the church. It looked as if the children were all happy and gay, as their parents stood around encouraging them. It made me want to join them but I remembered it was outlawed in Freehold for a good reason, so I drove on.

Just to illustrate how strong Satan's influence is in the Biden Administration, some of our Christian friends attended the White House lawn egg roll yesterday. They wanted to hear whether the President mentioned Jesus or Jesus' death and Resurrection.

While both Biden and Jill gave remarks, neither mentioned Jesus and the reason for our world-wide celebration of Easter. It is as if Easter is about something other than Jesus.

We True Christians™ have our work cut out for us.

                        I'm glad it's over.

What have chickens and rabbits got to do with Jesus? Evolution exists to persuade us that no need for any Jesus ever existed, that every detail attributed to Him is absurd and that His words were debunked as nonsense centuries before He was supposed to have existed. It attempts this by saying that one species can turn into another species for example that rabbits can produce chickens by laying eggs.

It revolts me. God is not a clockwork chicken going around and 'round in circles. The whole charade is a mockery no rational person would ever believe and for one very good reason. Everything about "Easter" completely opposes The Bible.

Here is how far Christianity has fallen. Easter is coming and every preacher should be writing a sermon on sin. The entire suffering and death of Jesus was about sin. I came across and outrage today, a site where preacher can buy a canned Easter sermon. "Easter sermon," any Easter sermon needs to rail against sin just as Pastor Zeke does. Preachers need to wise up and preach right.
