A Nice Easter Fact, Pilate Thought Jesus was Innocent

We who REALLY study the Bible know Pilate didn't want to kill Jesus. But the Jews insisted. That's why this Easter we should pause and reflect on what a fine man this fellow Pilate was. We can be sure Pilate learned that Jesus came back to life three days later and rejoices. Perhaps Easter should focus a little more on the Jews.

Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

It's easy to get discouraged at Easter because we True ChristiansTM are forced to recall the Jews gave a thumbs up to kill Jesus. We can thank God, however, there is a group of Jews who have seen the error of their ways and now recognize Jesus as the long awaited and prophesized King of the Jews. This group is called Jews for Jesus. Jews for Jesus are especially prominent at Easter speaking up about the injustice caused by the Jews and suffered by Jesus. I hope Jews for Jesus join in singing Hallelujah He is Risen.
