    Hair pie and bottle scramble

I cannot believe this! In Homergland, they have a harepie contest and kick bottles around town! Tell me this isn't just, "gay"!

A bunch of drunks fighting over a bottle of something after eating harepie!
It's disgusting what some people do for easter. Where is a neutron bomb when you need one?
The pie is cooked on Easter Monday, using a 20-inch square tin, at either Torch House, which belongs to Torch Trust for the Blind (previously Hallaton Convent), or at the Bewick Arms.
The pie is paraded in a procession through the village from the Fox Inn to the gate of St. Michael's Church.
The pie is distributed by the rector of St. Michael's Church to the crowd. Some of the pie is put into sacks and carried away with other processions through the village, ending at the top of Hare Pie bank. This is where the Bottle Kicking match takes place between Hallaton and the neighboring village of Medbourne. There is no limit to the number of competitors in the Bottle Kicking match.

    This makes jesus very angry.
    Matthew:
5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled
10:21 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

Lot's of things look like fun, but it's the consequences of this fun that you should think about. For example, celebrating Easter in this manner could cause you to go to Hell. That doesn't sound like fun, does it?

Sure, it's all fun and games until you're in hell and Satan has his tallywacker up your backside.

As a married woman I'm ashamed to even have such thoughts, but I can only assume that a hair pie has nothing to do with a rabbit inside a pastry crust...
"I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee." (Gen 3:16)

Satan's plan is just like a credit card. Have fun now, pay later. That's why True Christians always pay in cash.

Well called, Daniel! After all, it's hard to find a credit card with "In God We Trust" printed on it. When we pay with those lovely green bills, it's one more triumph for the one true cause!
