    The Voice of God Does Not Sound Like Your Thoughts.

    I must confess, sometimes my anger is greater at salad bar Christians than it is at atheists. That's because these Christians in name only give atheists ammunition to use against our mission to spread the Word of Jesus.

    I read with disgust a blog where a Christian says the "small still voice" of God speaking to us sounds like our personal thoughts--we need to study what is happening around us to discern it is God's voice.

    This kind of nonsense only gives atheists the chance to say the voice of God we hear is actually our own thoughts. We True Christians™ know better. We know that when God speaks to us it is in a clear and deep male voice, sometimes with beautiful angelic music in the background.

    It is clear to me this bozo has never actually heard the voice of God.

    No wonder the atheists are so miserable with their "free love" and drugs.

        God speaks to you with a "voice that sounds like one of your own thoughts." He also agrees completely with whatever you wanted to believe anyway. This is what liberal false Christians actually believe.
        This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

          As a Pastor, I talk to God all the time. His voice is tough and masculine, not unlike that of GWB.

          No limp-wristed liberal will ever hear God's golden tones, because they lack Christian Discernment.

            I had some liberal atheist come at me the other day with this argument that "Isn't it quite a coincidence that your God just happens to agree with all of your prejudices?"

            Which is completely absurd. Everybody here knows I hate hitting women, so much so that I've had to delay getting married until I know for sure I can give a woman a good smack if God needs me to. I may not like it, but Ephesians 5:22-24 says my wife is to submit to me, and who am I to argue with God?

            That's just one example of how God's wishes can be very different from my thoughts. I don't know what He literally sounds like, but I assure you His commands do not reflect my preferences.
