With standing room only for Pastor Zeke's sermons at Landover Baptist, we forget how much other churches are struggling these days. Big polling companies are studying people's attitudes and church attendance is falling.
The wrong thing to do about falling church attendance, however, is to concoct some fantasy foolishness about out faith in order to fill the pews. A preacher in NYC is trying to do just that by telling those in the pews God will make note of their accomplishments at work and preserve them for others to see after their deaths.
What hogwash. God only cares about sin. If you sin, you get punished, period. If some preacher tells you Jesus has a save button, get up and leave.
