Ah, when I said "Pokemon is made in Japan" I was mainly referring to the handheld games, it was published by The Pokemon Company which is a Japanese company and Nintendo Japan + The Pokemon Company had an involvement with the creation of Pokemon Go. Niantic is indeed an American Company.
