Millennials Reject Jesus for Witchcraft and Astrology

Well known atheists like Richard Dawkins and Christopher Hitchens (now rotting in Hell) hide behind their effete "British" accents, pretend to be "intellectuals", and overwhelmingly rely on hard "science" to defend their positions. Others, like Stephen Hawking struck down by Jesus and are probably already dead, speak through some computerized voice no doubt programmed by Satan.

For all their alleged "education" (at the hands of the Democrats), the current crop of millennials now see fit to spit in the face of Jesus and adopt witchcraft and astrology as their "religion".

Each new "generation" has usually been tagged as going to Hell, but this one surely is - along with Hellywood.

Why millennials are ditching religion for witchcraft and astrology
    By Kari Paul
    Published: Oct 23, 2017 3:36 a.m. ET

In tumultuous political times, the 18-30 demographic is reaching for the stars.

When Coco Layne, a Brooklyn-based producer, meets someone new these days, the first question that comes up in conversation isn’t “Where do you live?” or “What do you do?” but “What’s your sign?”

“So many millennials read their horoscopes every day and believe them,” Layne, who is involved in a number of nonreligious spiritual practices, said. “It is a good reference point to identify and place people in the world.”

Interest in spirituality has been booming in recent years while interest in religion plummets, especially among millennials. The majority of Americans now believe it is not necessary to believe in God to have good morals, a study from Pew Research Center released Wednesday found. The percentage of people between the ages of 18 and 29 who “never doubt existence of God” fell from 81% in 2007 to 67% in 2012.

Meanwhile, more than half of young adults in the U.S. believe astrology is a science. compared to less than 8% of the Chinese public. The psychic services industry — which includes astrology, aura reading, mediumship, tarot-card reading and palmistry, among other metaphysical services — grew 2% between 2011 and 2016. It is now worth $2 billion annually, according to industry analysis firm IBIS World.

Melissa Jayne, owner of Brooklyn-based “metaphysical boutique” Catland, said she has seen a major uptick in interest in the occult in the past five years, especially among New Yorkers in their 20s. The store offers workshops like “Witchcraft 101,” “Astrology 101,” and a “Spirit Seance.”

“Whether it be spell-casting, tarot, astrology, meditation and trance, or herbalism, these traditions offer tangible ways for people to enact change in their lives,” she said. “For a generation that grew up in a world of big industry, environmental destruction, large and oppressive governments, and toxic social structures, all of which seem too big to change, this can be incredibly attractive.”

Like the existence of God, however, there’s no actual scientific proof. Astrology has been debunked by numerous academic studies, but Banu Guler, co-founder of artificial intelligence powered astrology app Co—Star said the lack of structure in the field is exactly what drives young, educated professionals to invest their time and money in the practice.

“It’s very different from the way we usually work and live and date, where everything is hyper-mediated and rational,” she said. “There is a belief vacuum: we go from work to a bar to dinner and a date, with no semblance of meaning. Astrology is a way out of it, a way of putting yourself in the context of thousands of years of history and the universe.”

Case in point: Co—Star’s servers were so overwhelmed by demand after it launched on October 12 that the app crashed three times in its first week.

Astrology isn’t the only spiritual field overwhelmed by demand: Danielle Ayoka, the founder of spiritual subscription service Mystic Lipstick, said her customer base is growing exponentially. The self-described astrologer sells a “mystic box” subscription, which includes crystals, “reiki-infused bath salts,” and incense customized to the unique energy of the current moon cycle for $14.99 a month. She says she’s seen 75% increase in her audience in the past year.

“When I started my journey in 2010, I was the weirdo,” she said. “Now it is becoming more and more normalized, and I believe it is because more people are looking to heal. Millennials are much more open-minded.”

With this overwhelming demand comes a rise of products claiming metaphysical benefits, not all of which take the cultural context of the occult into account, notes Layne. Urban Outfitters sells sage, a product that has its roots in indigenous cleansing ceremonies, for $18 a pop and a crystal mobile for $32.

Actress turned CEO Gwyneth Paltrow sells a variety of spiritual wares on her website, many of which are borrowed or “inspired” by other cultures. A jade egg that costs $66 has its roots in ancient Taoist practice. Her $85 “Goop Medicine Bag” is “inspired by the Shaman’s medicine bag from various indigenous traditions,” and a $59 Tarot card deck features “mystical artwork” that mirrors Native American patterns.

But Layne, whose interest in Eastern medicine is rooted in her Taiwanese heritage, said white women are often able to profit from ancient practices that are not theirs to sell.

“It is really important to give credit to who is doing the work,” Layne said. “There is a whole culture of white women who capitalize off of spirituality, but it all comes from people of color. People need to do their homework: being in touch with your spiritual side is a natural, human thing to do. To be able to connect yourself is essential to healing not only your own wounds, but healing together.”

This is what happens when you persecute True Christians as Obama did all these years.

People want to believe, and they start believing in something just because everyone around believes the same, or because a book (a book!) tells them so.

And of course, the Bible is banned in most places, so they only can reach astrology books.

Neverthless, millennials deserve Hell. All of them.
1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the TRUMP of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first.

As many Christians have pointed out, most people have to believe in something, so those millennials have cobbled together a belief system out of distorted versions of ancient mythologies and pure wishful thinking. There is no evidence to support that belief system, and there is plenty against it, including failed claims of healing ability. Then they wonder why we True Christians™ think they're touched in the head.
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. I don't have a "birth sign" Pastor. But that doesn't stop them making up new ones if they feel like it. Satan was not being worshipped sufficiently, not even with the dub-step craze getting them all spangled up or the black hole of drunkenness or this millennial gendernonspecificity he's polluting the world with right now. He had to get them to support his own sign and that's exactly what they've cooked up for him.
REVELATION 20 .KJV . look up

I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years

Can they even decide how many of these "signs" there are? Ten? Twelve? Thirteen? Why not make it fourteen? For ages they didn't even know how many months to have..

This is what happens when reality is removed from education. People will believe any old mumbo-jumbo just because people they trust have lied to them. Did they know they were lying? If they were promoting ideas they knew to be false, then yes.

But what if they didn't know that? Then they were lying about having knowledge. There is no evidence for false beliefs. People who tell children that there is evidence, perhaps citing Josephus as evidence for the historical Hercules but never having read Josephus for themselves, are lying about the evidence. Hercules isn't real, and Ophiuchus isn't real either.

Satan likes it just like that. "Oh yeah," he says. "Just keep doing that, a few more astrological signs, some more stars to worship, down down down you go.." and soon those children are lost in the stars forever.

I'm a Gemini. The twins. Though I'm a Scorpio rising and my moon is in Cancer. This explains my super intense and fun loving nature. As you can see I am a social creature. Gemini's are tricky signs (Heck, even Mr. Trump is one! God forbid.) you just never can tell what's on our minds! :p

I realize this is exactly how a culture, any culture, is created - by putting together bits and pieces of whatever seems nice and disregarding bits and pieces you don't like and ending up with a quilt which looks pretty to you but is a complete eye-hurting disaster for everyone else.

Nevertheless, I was hoping, that in today's age, with all of the advances of science, there is hope that the new cultures would be less superstition quilts and more reason-based...

                  I'll keep dreaming.

Re: Millennials Reject Jesus for Witchcraft and Astrology

Well, that is a place where God an science agree. Witchcraft and astrology are bullshit. Some guy proved the stars have slowly shifted over time, to the point that astrological constelations are one constelation away from where they think they should be. No doubt God did this to shows us the lies of astrology. As for wichcraft, we all know where that comes from.
It's predominant thanks to modern culture like Hollywood, who make witches seem cool to teens in their movies and TV shows. Of course, again, his work.
The only real way to overcome this is through proper education at all stages of life, and reeducation of those that are lost. Let's admit it, our numbers grow thinner every year, we need to reeducate the lost fast or risk a world ruled by liberals and commies, trans and homos, amd worst of all, pagans.

I see your moral code functions to elevate you to "winner" status. You are inflexible in your thinking, you lack compassion for the stubborn fool, and you are looking out to increase your well being without consideration of the well being of those who are "losers" in any given situation.

You really ought to reconsider with which supernatural agent you wish to align, dear. Satan cannot save you from eternal damnation, and with Christ, you'll always be a winner!

                              Think about it.

Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.
