Others Join Landover Baptist to Name Sinners

We work hard here every day to call out the sinners and those who are evil. I think we are among the top churches in the world at this task.

But, every once in a while, I have to take my hat off to others who are also pointing fingers at sinners and calling them by name. Our President has been helpful in giving these preachers on fire their due.

Our own Pastor Zeke is in the White House as we speak providing wisdom and guidance to the President. Generous man that he is he paved the way for Dallas Pastor Robert Jeffress and the well known defender of Israel and enemy of Palestine, Pastor John Hagee, to pray at the dedication of the new American Embassy for Israel in Jerusalem.

Pastor Jeffress found a teaching moment a while back when he explained Jews, Mormons and Muslims are going to hell. How would the average person know this is Pastor Jeffress did not explain it? How many quickly left these phony church groups so they had a shot at heaven?

Liberals and Muslims are so mad. We at Landover Baptist are so proud.

How long will an opened jar of peanut butter remain fresh without being refrigerated? Once pilloried by the MSM as a failed presidential candidate, RINO Mitt Romney (adherent of the "get your own planet" religion scam - the LDS) weighs in on Pastor Jeffress as a "Bigot" - and the MSM is all over it like a Stormy Daniels public cervix announcement.

When will some honest journalist in the MSM actually read the Bible (KJV1611) before writing a story?

Mitt Romney Calls Southern Baptist Pastor Robert Jeffress a “Religious Bigot”
    By Todd Starnes - May 13, 2018

Failed presidential candidate Mitt Romney issued a vicious statement condemning Dr. Robert Jeffress, one of the nation’s most prominent evangelical ministers and a spiritual adviser to President Trump.

Jeffress is in Israel where he is scheduled to deliver the prayer that opens the new United States Embassy in Jerusalem.

“Robert Jeffress says ‘you can’t be saved by being a Jew,’ and ‘Mormonism is a heresy from the pit of hell,'” Romney wrote on Twitter. “He’s said the same about Islam. Such a religious bigot should not be giving the prayer that opens the United States Embassy in Jerusalem.”

    . . . .

“Historical Christianity has taught for 2,000 years that salvation is through faith alone in Jesus Christ,” Jeffress said. “The fact that I, along with millions of evangelical Christians around the world, espouse that belief is neither bigoted or newsworthy.”

Romney’s scathing attacks brought condemnation across the nation.

“Mitt Romney is showing his true colors as a liberal RINO by using the Democrat playbook to attack a Baptist pastor who is simply standing for the orthodox Christian faith,” said Dr. Emir Caner, president of Truett-McConnell University. “After all, if Jeffress is a bigot for declaring that there is only one way to heaven, so too was Jesus a bigot by declaring, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

The views expressed by Dr. Jeffress are in line with the teachings of the Southern Baptist Convention, the nation’s largest Protestant denomination.

The North American Mission Board of the SBC labels the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints as “cultic.”

“Mormon teaching is not orthodox nor biblical in that it does not hold to the inerrancy of Scripture, nor to the full, eternal divinity of Christ. On those two points alone, Mormon teaching does not qualify as orthodox Christianity,” NAMB states.

“Obviously, the question “Are Mormons Christians?” is not controversial because of a mere disagreement over classification. The real issue is whether the LDS Church is a valid, authentic, faithful expression of the Christian faith. On this question, we must simply accept the fact that evangelicals and LDS will disagree,” NAMB states.

The question must be asked — does Romney consider the 14 million members of the Southern Baptist Convention to be religious bigots, too?

“Ultimately, a good Jew, Muslim or Baptist cannot go to heaven without the saving blood of Jesus Christ,” Caner said.

Apparently, Romney would disagree with that belief.

True Christians are eternally secure (Ecclesiastes 3:14, Proverbs 24:16, John 10:27-30, Romans 11:29, 1 Corinthians 1:8, Galatians 3:3, Ephesians 4:32, Philippians 1:6, Titus 3:5, Hebrews 7:22-26, 1 Peter 1:4, 1 John 2:19, Jude 24, Revelation 3:5), but they definitely live different than sinners, and hate walking in the flesh. I cringe at those people who believe in loss of salvation. They think that if Christians don’t believe their unique doctrine, they will have a “license for immorality,” and they will thus dive fearlessly into sin. They miss the fact that true Christians don’t want to sin because they are born again and love God, and no true Christian is looking for licenses to sin. One wonders who these Christians are whom those people are so concerned about, Christians who are wanting to sin with impunity. There are no such Christians, that is, true Christians. Certainly, true Christians do stumble into sin, but stumbling implies an unintentional fall. Christians are not rebels against God, as are the unsaved, who are practicing sin with no regard to God.

I have always believed outing a sinner shows just how much you care.
Sinners are full of shame, why else would they keep their dirty, filthy little secrets. A True Christian(tm) on the other hand tells all when they fail to live up to Gods impeccable standards. I cannot recall the number of times I have confessed to a Pastor or one of the guys all the sordid tales of my errors. I have no shame in describing in exquisite detail tales of debauchery in lower west side NYC leather bars, packed in a bathroom stall, ten muscular mustached men covered with sweat and bodily excretions, pile driving my every orifice in an alcohol and popper fueled frenzy.

No one is perfect except a True Christian(tm).
        2nd Timothy 4:1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
2nd Timothy 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
        2nd Timothy 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
2nd Timothy 4:4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
2nd Timothy 4:5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

          Here my favorite street preacher.

We as true Christians know that we can avoid walking in our old, dead nature, and IF we sin, we have an advocate. We don't practice sin, see Provers 24:16
