The Bible instructs Christians to take blasphemy very seriously:
Luke 12:10 And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven.
Leviticus 24:16 And he that blasphemeth the name of the Lord, he shall surely be put to death, and all the congregation shall certainly stone him: as well the stranger, as he that is born in the land, when he blasphemeth the name of the Lord, shall be put to death.
So I'm sympathetic to the 12 countries, riots on the street and "rape, death and beheading threats against my sister, mother, father and myself" following comments by some lady politician in India.
Before condemning her to death, let's examine the background to see what the Mooslims are being so touchy about.
So you can see, calls for her death due to her blasphemy are warranted. Ah, we can only dream of such strong protections for religious freedom in America.

'Insulting' Indian MP sparks outrage and violent protests
The UAE, Oman, Indonesia, Iraq, the Maldives, Jordan, Libya and Bahrain have joined the growing list of countries in the Islamic world that have condemned the remarks. Earlier, Kuwait, Iran and Qatar had called Indian ambassadors to register their protest, and Saudi Arabia had issued a strongly worded statement.

- Hindus claim that the mosque in the holy city of Varanasi is built on the ruins of a grand 16th Century Hindu shrine - destroyed in 1669 by Mughal emperor Aurangzeb - and some are now seeking a court's permission to pray within the mosque complex.
- A controversial court order, which allowed a video-recorded survey of the mosque, is said to have revealed a stone shaft that the petitioners claim is a Shivalinga, the symbol of Shiva. But mosque authorities insist that it's a water fountain.
- The dispute is being heard in court, but the claims and counter-claims are being debated endlessly on TV channels and Ms Sharma has been a loud and vocal proponent of the Hindu nationalist point of view.
So you can see, calls for her death due to her blasphemy are warranted. Ah, we can only dream of such strong protections for religious freedom in America.
