How can I rebuke false Christians on this particular point?

I have been trying to convert some false liberal Christians to True Christianity™, but I am not having much success. I have been talking to some people who call themselves "evangelicals", but I guess anything passes for evangelical these days.

The point I am trying to make and rebuke these false Christians on is the that no where in the Bible does it say that mentally retarded people and people who are severly mentally ill are exempt from accepting Jesus Christ into their hearts. Jesus said that no one gets to the father except through him. No one means absolutely no one, not everyone except mentally retarded people or people who are severely mentally ill.

What are some common arguments and Bible verses that these false Christians use to try to say that these people can get into Heaven, and how can I rebuke them with sound Biblical evidence?

Just point them to Leviticus 21 where God tells Moses who can and can't worship. Leviticus is full of good rebuking material on who is and is not worthy of receiving Jesus Christ! Happy hunting!

False Christians use Bible verses? First I've heard of it.
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

As for arguments, I think they typically whine about whether it would be fair to let tards or crazy people go to hell. Feel free to remind them that fairness is a modern liberal concept that is quite alien to the Word of God.

As for Bible verses, of course they have none. They are too fixated on what they feel that the Bible should say to worry about what the Bible says.
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

Sure they do. You can take anything out of context and make it mean whatever you want if you try hard enough.

Now why would ANY sort of Christian want to do something like THAT! It's so unethical, and I'm sure it would make the Baby Jesus cry!

Re: How can I rebuke false Christians on this particular point?

Does even a false Christian believe that retardeds have the intellectual capacity to comprehend Jesus' temporary sacrifice? A drooling cripple claiming that they accept Christ is tantamount to a caged bear learning to dance with young Indonesian girls who get disrespectful. It doesn't prove anything.
              Who Will Jesus Damn?

Probably NIV. That's not really the Bible, of course, but many of them think it is, and we all know how difficult it is to get some of those false Christians to change their views just because the facts don't support them.

Here's a classic Landover thread explaining just how much God hates gimps.
