Death: Punishment for Removing Life Support?

I was thinking about the case of the goth girl who was attacked in England, and how a mere two weeks into her coma, her parents (who were told by the "doctors" she wouldn't "ever" recover) cruelly removed her from the life support system that was helping her get better.

    The result? She died.

Couldn't this have been God's punishment to the parents for valuing human life so lightly?

It's as if God were saying, "Okay, sinners. You think supporting life is so trivial? You think you can 'Play God'? I'll show you what happens."

It depends. Who do you expect to pay for extended life support? The state? That could be dangerous. Imagine warehouses filled with suspended-life bodies, their brains tapped for their computing power, used to control the world. Sound weird? That's just the future.
Things are going to get worse before they get better.
