Further proof that the Romanists taught you false doctrine. Going to church doesn't make you a Christian any more than going to a parking lot makes you a car. Let me quote you something from that book that you can't be bothered to read:

Matthew 7:21-23: Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Wow is this Christian hospitality? Polack is pejorative and in my country you would be considered as a racist.

Well, what did you expect? You waltz in here and write a sarcastic and insulting "dictionary" and expected them to be nice to you? *Hits you with her Stick*.

Thanks for your answer. Excuse me if I have been a bit too sarcastic, I just wanted to shock you to see how you react, but I did not want to be agressive.

A Feather-Ruffler, eh? Who are you that you need to bother others to find entertainment? No friends?

I'm baptised Catholic (but you seem not to like Catholics very much... No, they don't. Catholics "worship the wrong way") but, like 95% of the people in my country, never go to church. I used to have more faith, but now I'm at University, and the more I learn and read books, the more I'm atheist. I'm building my own opinion, so I'm open to what you say.
Well you certainly don't sound like you are.

However, I came here because a friend told me there was a forum with extremist Christians. You may not consider yourself as extremist, but if you compared yourself to people in my country, you would change your mind!
And if you compared yourself to the Landover Baptists, you'd think you were going to Hell. It's all about perspective.

This is as big a load of rubbish as the Koran itself. Just as the Bible was dictated to King James word-for-word by the LORD our God, so too was the Koran dictated by Satan to a camel-humping pederast named Mummyhead. And that's where the resemblance ends.

The Torah and the Bible are similar, only the Torah removes the parts that tell you how to be saved from eternal Hellfire. Real geniuses, those Jews.

No, you're Catholic. Catholics worship the "virgin" Mary. And baptism does not make a person Christian any more than circumcision makes a man a Jew. Christianity is a path of Bible study and faith and following of every part of God's laws, not having a little water dribbled on your forehead at birth.
Maybe after my exams if I have time. But read 1984! Its not about religion, don't worry, I don't want to convert you (anyway I'm also Christian so...)
We've already determined that you're Catholic, not Christian. And I've read 1984, I fail to see the relevance. 1984 is a novel by George Orwell, about a world where words don't mean what they say (i.e., doublespeak) and where people are continually monitored by their government. The Bible is a book written by God, where every word means exactly what it says.

If Jesus was Palestinian, he was not white. So he was inferior. Poor Jesus.
Jesus had hair 'the color of new wine' (strawberry blond) and blue eyes, as described in the Gospels. Doesn't sound very Semitic to me.

That's your version. And its not better than mine.
Only one version is God's version, the KJV1611. Here's a comparison of the KJV1611 against the "New International Version", a Satanic mutilation of the Bible which removes many verses and rewrites others. And it's from a site you might like. http://www.religioustolerance.org/chr_vers1.htm

    http://www.maredsous.be/index.php?id=20&L=2

that's a few miles far from my home. Explain me why those kind monks would be poor sinners doomed to burn in hell, just because they read another version of the bible...
Because they're Mary-worshipping Catholics and idolators in addition to reading another version of the Bible.

Please don't come to discuss the Bible and then say it's too boring for you to read and understand. How can you discuss something you've not read?

That'd be like me trying to discuss the latest Tom Clancy novel with you. I haven't read it, I don't know what it says, so I can't intelligently discuss it.

You claiming to be a Christian without reading the Bible is far worse, because you stake a claim to faith and doctrine without even understanding its foundations. People here find it very insulting when someone claims to be Christian and hasn't even bothered to read the ONE book it's founded upon! (Because, as you say, "it's too boring"!)

That's not false, I also admit it. Honnestly, I had never met people like you and I was taken aback. I try to understand, but give me time to do it. I'll try to calm down.
I'm sure we all appreciate that. You've been very rude to us, while most of us are trying to converse in a rational manner with you.

Because I don't recognize it as a book worthier than my version of the bible, or the koran, or the torah.
You also haven't read any version of the Bible, per your own statements. Somehow I doubt you've read the Koran or the Torah, either.

Stop your middle-age like rethoric, it may work with people in your circle, but my education learnt me to think by myself and avoid your kind of dangerous speech. That does not make any effect on me. It just makes me smile.
Thinking for yourself requires doing your homework. You must understand something to have an educated opinion on it. Again, you admit to never having read or even OWNED a Bible (just a New Testament), but you claim knowledge of what it says.

OK I read, but "And thou shalt stone him with stones, that he die." is not what I call tolerance.
The Bible isn't about tolerance. As Brother Mayfield has mentioned, the word "tolerance" is not even found in the Bible. Use the online link and search for it.

God is not at ALL about tolerance. God lays down the law, we follow it. All of it. That's what being a True Christian is all about.

False Christians pick and choose the parts they like, and frequently talk about God being all about love and tolerance. Catholics worship statues and the "virgin" Mary and "relics" (body parts of dead "saints"). Nominal Christians listen to an occasional sermon, and follow some traditions, but never read the Bible for themselves.

You clearly do not want to be a Christian, as you have stated repeatedly that YOU want to decide for yourself what God should think and do. You apparently want to BE God, or think you know better than God what God should think and do. As a human, God's creation, it is not your (or my) position to second-guess the Creator!

    Friend,
Do you not claim to be a Christian. As a Christian you should believe God is all powerful, all knowing and present and active in this world. Now to say His message to His creation is flawed, mistranslated is to argue God is incompetent and therefore not God. I friend can not accept that argument as a good Christian any more than I can accept the theory of Evolution because if Evolution is true then it means God is lying in The Bible.

Son, I think I see your trouble now.
You're not my dad. I dont want to be linked with people like you. You do your bet to be kind with me, thank you, but I refuse to be the "friend" or the "son" of anybody thinking that he is superior to somebody else. That's contrary to my deepest values.

#1, You can't read, write or speak God's chosen language, American.
Eh, what am I doing? I write in Greek maybe? OK I make mistakes, but you understand me and I understand you. Furthermore, nothing allows you to say that American would be the "elected language". If you have any empiristic proof, call me. And American is not a language, it's a dialect differing from English only by a few words.

You haven't even made an attempt to read the Holy Bible,
I admit it. I read catechisme books when I was younger, but the bible is too boring. But OK, I'll try.

    spewing hatred and mocking Jesus.
That's not false, I also admit it. Honnestly, I had never met people like you and I was taken aback. I try to understand, but give me time to do it. I'll try to calm down.

Therefore you have no hope of comprehending what the Holy KJV1611 Bible says,
Because I don't recognize it as a book worthier than my version of the bible, or the koran, or the torah.

nor what any True Christian™ pastor tells you.
Why the "™"? It's a brand? You decide who is true christian?

    #2, You have been brainwashed
I think exactly the same about you, but I don't say it because I still hope to understand you.

    (and probably sodomized repeatedly)
only in your fantasms. You see me through stereotypes and strong prejudices. I do the same towards you, but I'm counscient of that and try to be more objetive.

    by some village priest,
Stop with that. I haven't entered a church for 6 months (a wedding) and I don't spend my life in my village. I went to school in a town, and now I'm at university in Brussels.

Therefore you have no hope of comprehending what the Holy KJV1611 Bible says, nor what any True Christian™ pastor tells you.
Needless to repeat, I had understood.

#3, You have decided that YOU know more than God,
    When did I say that?

    eurotrash
Stop being racist and I may show some credit to what you say

the demons infesting your brain are strong and stubborn.
Stop your middle-age like rethoric, it may work with people in your circle, but my education learnt me to think by myself and avoid your kind of dangerous speech. That does not make any effect on me. It just makes me smile.

Therefore you have no hope of comprehending what the Holy KJV1611 Bible says, nor what any True Christian™ pastor tells you.
Once more, needless to repeat. You use the same methods than advertisors. So I guess you have something to sell...

Please take note of the tolerance God expresses in these verses.
OK I read, but "And thou shalt stone him with stones, that he die." is not what I call tolerance.

Son, you don't want to be damned to an eternity of being raped in hell by nasty demons do you?
Do you believe just because you fear the death?

That is exactly what Jesus has in store for you unless you accept Him as your Saviour© today. Go and find that village priest who lied to you and forced you to sexually service him in so many ways, and slap him good. Then get on your knees (after the priest runs away) and BEG JESUS to save you by the Grace of His Blood. Good luck boy!
I had rarely seen a guy with so much faith. Good. However, I don't want to make you sad, but you waste your time. Your arguments sound absurd to me. If I change my mind, its because I think by myself, not because somebody told me to do it or because its written in a book.

Now I see your problem. No one has taken the trouble to give you a proper education in the Bible.
I'm baptised. I'm as christian as you. Luckily they let me the choice to think by myself, and I really don't feel the need to read the bible. So I learn by myself, I make mistakes, but I learn from it, so I progress.

If you live in a village in Europe that was no priest, that was a red cross worker. So are those people you know as your parents
They also ask you to be arrogant in your book? Why do you think I should be a backwarded scum? Just because my opinions differ from yours? Come on, be adult.

Being a drunken coward is not something to be proud of. Jesus weeps.
It's funny, every time I speak about beer, the Americans believe I'm talking about being drunk. No. Belgian beer is like the French wine. You don't drink it to be drunk, you taste it, you enjoy it, and never too much.

I'm sorry if I make Jesus sweep by enjoying life.

Sure, and Newton's Principia is just another version of the Berenstein Bears
Newton's principia have been empiristically proved, and are not considered as holly. Progress is necessary in science if you want to evolute, so it's normal (it's even needed) if more precize theories replace the obsolete ones. That's the only way to understand better and better the Nature.

On the contrary, you say that your book is the good one, and then the debate is over. But you do not show me why it would be the good one.

Just because the Nazis believed something doesn't mean its WRONG.
Indeed. But superiority of white men was the main part of their ideology. That led to a World War where 55 millions of people have been killed. To me, it means that this is a wrong ideology.

Show me where God says that all men are equal, friend.
I'll ask to the believers I know. They will give a more precize answer than me. And please, if you do not consider every man on this earth as equal to his neighbor, don't call me "friend", because I won't consider you as mine.

Furthermore, equality between the men is the main principle of the Human Rights and is also in your constitution, I think. Are you against those 2 documents? They are "written by the devil"?

Praise Jesus I am a white Republican male in America!
The Molah Omar or the other fanatic islamists would not have answered another way.

the Bible wasn't written by "a guy" it was written by the Creator of the Universe. In that case I have no choice but to believe it.
Honestly, I think its childish to believe that, but since its what you deeply believe in, I won't waste my time trying to show you that our mythology is a compilation of diverse older divinities (Jesus' story looks like Osiris' story...) and that since there are dozens of books that say they are holly, you won't find any proof that yours is the good one.

We TRUE Christians(tm) don't; we read the King James 1611 English translation of The Bible, which is from a 9th century Byzantine Bible. Catholics use a Bible based on a false 7th century Bible found in the trash in a monetary in Egypt by some perverted Russian count. Further more your village priest’s Bible is ether in Latin or Belgium (or some other Euro trash language), as opposed to the English God originally wrote The Bible in.
    1) You are no more Christian than me

But "Pastor Ezekiel" says exactly the contrary. That's why I really wonder if he reads the same bible than the priest in my village.

Since he (he, but many others on this forum) is absolutely certain to be right and the others to be wrong, he is nothing else than a fanatic, and does not deserve more respect from me than the islamists, for example.

By the way, he (and many others) are ennemies of the others religions, but on many points (inferiority of the woman, the holy book written by god, the infidels burn in hell...) he totally agrees with islam. Strange.

Because I carry the compassion of Christ in my heart, I'd like to share a few important verses from God's Word that I'm guessing were conveniently ignored by your false cult of mary worship. Please take note of the tolerance God expresses in these verses.

    Deuteronomy 13:6-10
If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers; Namely, of the gods of the people which are round about you, nigh unto thee, or far off from thee, from the one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth; Thou shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall thine eye pity him, neither shalt thou spare, neither shalt thou conceal him: But thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people. And thou shalt stone him with stones, that he die.

    2 Chronicles 15:13
Whosoever would not seek the LORD God of Israel should be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman.

    Mark 16:16
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned

    ... are you kidding?
I also read than women and black were "inferior" ...is this a joke?
No. Women are to be the servants of/subject to their husbands, as stated in the Bible. The descendents of Ham are the non-white people, who were cursed to be the servants of all other (white) people. So, that seems to make both colored folk and women inferior to white men, at least in God's eyes. And His are the eyes that matter.
I consider myself as moderate. I like being free, and think by myself. Of course, some things written in the bible are good. But when he says that some people are inferior, that's bad, that leads to racism and violence.
