It is people like you guys that make me ashamed to be a christian.

There are so many things in this conversation that shocked me beyond belief. All people that have been raped in their lives were raped because they deserved it? I've known alot of rape victims in my time and many had pure hearts and loving souls, and to say they deserved it when you know nothing about their lives or their hearts is extremely judgemental.
You would cast judgement upon them? Please! I beg of you! Open your minds! This attitude is spitefull and bitter, and it will be your undoing! Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.

I ask the person who posted this statement, and started this conversation to read this and read it with an open mind. God doesn't want anyone to suffer. Thats not loving at all! It is not he who rapes the "gothic harlets" or the young girls in our christian communitys! Thats Satan!

Would he force his wife to have sex? Would he tell a rape victim she deserved her suffering? Would he call anyone a harlet based off a photo?

No, I did not misunderstand. To put the verse in lay-womans terms, the girl was in a field, all alone - Not a bright thing to do.
She got raped and because she was all alone, no one heard her.
The moral is, had she not been in an empty field all alone, the rape my not of occurred. Because of her irresponsibility, a man lost his life.
