It is people like you guys that make me ashamed to be a christian ("Christian" not capitalized, check).

What would Jesus do? (follow God's world as it's written in the Bible, not make up our own version)
If you feel the answer is yes then you are yet to know gods ("God" not capitalized of course...) will and I prey you will learn to love the world and not fear it and judge it as you do.

How about you go back to your atheist forum? It's a cute angle to pretend to be a Christian and try to separate us from the Bible and God, but it's ultimately deceptive. Deception is the cornerstone of atheism.

You didn't actually disagree with anything I said. Was anything I said actually against baptist beliefs? I don't believe it is... I think you would find there would be many baptist preachers and followers that would strongly disagree with the views expressed in this forum.

I was taken aback by the deceptive wrapping your message came in. One cannot be expected to respond properly when the other person is dishonest about his credentials.

Long story short: we follow the WHOLE Bible, not just the convenient parts. False Christians just take the parts that happen to coincide with their wishful thinking and disregarding everything else. Or they "interpret" Scripture. Interpretation is another way of saying "twisting to suit your agenda".

Why do you have a problem when people who follow God happen to take His words seriously? Surely, if your friend Jimbo asks you for a hamburger, you won't return with a milkshake? Same thing with Christianity.

I am sorry that you feel that way.. I don't wish to argue with you about your beliefs. The way that profiles have rankings that tell you weather or not they are true christians is making it apparant, this site is a space for people with these beliefs and those people only.

I personally do not take the bible as literally as you do.. and I think the baptist church must be different in New Zealand to how it is in America because I have never met anyone with such beliefs.

I am being careful with my wording here because I don't want to offend you. I am sure your beliefs are not as strong as they come across in this forum, and that you are all very loving people.

If I may though, I feel that some of the people in this forum other than the person I am talking to right now, come accross in a very bitter way. There are kinder ways of saying such things, and some of you would do well to learn to express yourself in a more loving way.

By dressing slutty these girls are inviting dangerous things to happen. It is as simple as that. The fact that they deny Christ and listen to openly satanic music only furthers their dilemma by removing the Lords protection leaving them truly exposed and undefended. Think for a moment. The KJV1611 Bible was written clearly nearly 400 years ago. There was never a need to remove any part of it. Ever wonder why? Well, I'll let you in on the secret. It is because every word is His Word. Every word is to be followed. Imagine if you will, the US issuing the following statement, "We will not declare war on New Zealand because the people are not evil and stupid". Now, imagine if you ignored the words in red. So you see, God would not of had the Bible written with the exact words He did if he did not want us to follow it exactly with no deviation or interpretation.

HAHAHA well I agree with you there. Pretty sure you have more soldiers than we have people! (an exaduration) But I disagree with you. I feel the lady above was attacking me. Mary was her name. She attepted to call my country a small bush island, which implies it is a savage country.. and she said I was wrapped in desire to persecute christians.
Im sure you'll agree that if someone said that to you you would feel attacked. Is that not fair?
As a new member I do not feel it my place to tell her she is out of line, but perhaps looking at what she said you would agree? I dont want her to get infraction points or anything but I want her to know that such attacks could hinder the sites ability to spread the word of God.

Well, I have to disagree. Mrs. Whitford is a lady of worldly distinction. Now I have never been to New Zealand but I have seen pictures. Not once have a seen a city, just ones of empty country side. So I see no attacks coming from her, though I do see you feathers in a ruffle and you stamping your feet some. Looks to me like the show is on the other foot just a bit.

That is Auckland city, population 1.2 million. We are a technologically advanced country, with Auckland ranking among the top ten most comfortable cities in the world due to traffic, recreation and services such as hotels and resteraunts.
We also developped the technology of motion capture which was used in Lord of the rings and Avatar. All that technology was used here, in new zealand and Avatar will soon be the most profitable movie of all time.

She is unaware of all of this and yet despite the fact that she knows nothing about my country (believing it is part of Australia) she decides she will insult me and my country.

This is unfair to say the least and makes your religion look like its followers are arrogant and small minded, (of which I am certain you are not)

I'm not saying she's a bad person, many people make assumptions about foreign countries, but all I was trying to say was that she did not need to be so aggresssive.
