Muslims came up with distillation of fire-water.

I imagine more than a few went blind or died before realizing that methanol comes first in a distillation, THEN ethanol.

So, I have been thinking for a while about this. Without divine inspiration why on Earth would man naturally just say, Hey! I am going to scrape some of this infectious looking stuff up and throw it in my grape juice or barley water and then let it sit in a cool oxygen free environment and see what happens when I drink it.

Who said, I am going to cut down this grass, seperate out the seeds, grind them into a fine flower, mix them with the same infectious looking stuff, a white rock from a chicken's butt, some ground up sugar or bee spit, and water and the milk from an other animal's teat? Then I will let it rise to a new size and shape. Afterwards, I will bake it at a precise temperature. Then I am going to eat this stuff.

Without God, man could not have come up with fermented drinks or baked goods.

You're talking about "Bo's Law." I'll move your post to the proper thread.

In the mean time, why don't you make a thread of your own in the "introductions" section of the forum?

    There are people

There are people who claim to be atheists and they are really good at bashing and mocking Christianity. Some even have websites that bash and mock Christianity but it is interesting how these so called atheists rarely bash other religions. Why is that?

I was on a site with atheists who were comparing all he atrocities committed in the name of religion/God. None of them had the intellectual honesty to admit that when it comes to sheer terror and body count Islam and Christianity pretty much run neck and neck but it seems that people who call themselves atheists can only point out the "atrocities" committed by Christians.

Most Christians are intellectually dishonest in that they cherry pick the parts of the Bible that suit their sensibilities. Landover Baptist seems very different in that you folks accept the Bible....all of it. I don't see how anyone can call themselves a Christian and doubt the Bible for a moment.

I don't like false Christians at all. I actually admire true Atheists because they willing accept their eternal damnation. Fake atheists are the biggest hypocrites.

Thanks for taking the time out of your busy schedule to drop in here uninvited and unwelcome to spew your atheistic filth and hatred on our Christian forum. It's always nice to have you degenerates come in to persecute us.

By the way, the Bible tells us that we are actually Blessed by your persectution.

Matthew 5:10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
5:11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
5:12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

So beer was invented 3,000 years before God created the earth?

You nazi scum will stop at nothing to lure Christians into your web of lies, will you.

Sir Bernie, you are merely under the illusionary spell of Satan and his partner in crime, Ghost Shark. Universities and science departments are cult compounds! Nothing more than wellsprings of misinformation, misunderstanding, denial, illusion, and tomfoolery!

If you say: "Well Satan and your stupid theory are not real", have I got news for you! Satan and Ghost Shark WANT you to think that. So if you DO THINK IT....YOU ARE PROVING THE EXISTENCE OF SATAN AND GHOST SHARK ILLUSION AGENDA BY YOUR VERY WORDS!

    Irony stings, doesn't it?

Sir Bernie, I was an atheist too, once. But, fortunately, I was SAVED when SPACESHIP JESUS visited me in my motel room in 1974. He was wearing an astronaut's suit and we talked for 3 days. He instructed me on my mission in life. To this day, I still receive his messages into my brain. I know it sounds crazy, but it's only crazy if you think in the illusion-driven context that YOU AND YOUR ILK CALL "REALITY", which is actually a projection of psychic dreamworld thought emanating from Ghost Shark under the sea.

Yes, I believe there is a big, nearly infinite universe. And I ask myself what was before the big bang? How did it look like? I don't know, but I'm eager to learn.
You are just too lazy, taking the easiest way: god. but with god it's the same thing: what was before god? or, if anything was "created", who created god? nah, nothing for me. we can come a lot further with science. That's why I believe in it!
