Ok, first of all, why are you stating that My Chemical Romance should stand trial for murder? The song was written by a different band by the name of Leathermouth-be specific. And, secondly, do you guys know ANYTHING about Frank Iero? Because it is obvious that you don't. Frank has NOT killed anybody. He is letting out his anger through MUSIC, not murder! If you guys had done any research you would know that the band My Chemical Romance has helped people save their lives countless of times. You people make me embarrassed to call myself a Christian. It's just music. MCR are my heroes. Go Frank.

I can not believe that there is a whole forum devoted to this sort of narrow mindedness. I thought evolution had brought us a lot farther than this, but then again I suppose I am in a place where evolution is thought to be a lie, a myth or just some crazy, murdering lie.

I am not a fan of My Chemical Romance, nor do I really know anything about Frank Iero, but holy mother of Jesus, people, really!? If anyone is going to shoot up a school or kill themselves, the idea was in there head long before any song put it there. And you can probably blame those good Christian parents for being so judgmental of there children and making them self-conscious and emotionally unstable.

There is much worse out there you can choose to hate on. Maybe child abuse or rape, just for a few constructive ideas, but if you're stuck on the cause of devil-worshiping, hate-filled, murderous music, you could really pick something worse. Ever heard of Metal?

You have got to be kidding me.

I suppose if you want to get MCR/Frank Iero/Leathermouth/whoever in those bands arrested, you should arrest a good majority of the music industry. And you might as well completely trample all over everybody's right to freedom of speech while you're making an attempt.

Music is a way to let out your emotions that may be pent up. Coming from somebody who has anxiety attacks and has overcome the challenge of self-harm, I can say (and representing many friends I have who also use this as a way to healthily calm down/let out feelings) that music genuinely helps people put their emotions at ease and calm down when worked up.

My Chemical Romance and it's members are all anti-violence/anti-suicide. Leathermouth was Frank's side project and yes, the music is aggressive. So is every other metal band out there, as well as classic bands like Metallica and Iron Maiden. He was bullied in school and that song is his way of venting about all those feelings he had going through that. But you guys being Christian sunshine and rainbows, you wouldn't know, being in your perfect little happy bubbles, wouldn't know what it's like to be a kid who's the misfit, who doesn't have many friends, who CAN'T make any friends because everyone thinks they're a freak because they might simply have one difference that's minor, like music, or something similar.

Plus, I have NEVER heard of a massacre/any sort of killing that's occurred when the one executing the violent actions claimed they did it because they listened to Leathermouth and said, "Oh, I'm going to go kill my entire student body now." It's a tragedy that massacres have happened and I can't begin to imagine how heartbreaking it must be to lose somebody in such an event. But that doesn't mean you can point an accusing finger to anybody, simply because you want somebody to blame. Somebody who goes through with a shooting or massacre obviously has some deeply rooted issues that began way before simply hearing a band's lyrics. People don't have psychotic breaks on just a whim.

You obviously must have some reason to begin to worry about any kids you know listening to Leathermouth. If you're so worried and concerned about any children/teenagers you know listening to anything like this, instead of going around making petitions that will never get noticed or actually go through, TALK TO YOUR KIDS. Believe me, your kids will be so much more happier if you actually take the time to listen to them, to understand them as a parent rather than a Christian out to shove their beliefs down everybody else's throat. Kids who have any sort of issue don't want you to go get rid of everybody else. They want you to notice that something's wrong, and actually, legitimately give a damn about how they feel. When you do the opposite of that, THAT will push them to act out, not the music they listen to.

Also, aside from this, "BelieverInGod" posted on the first page, and they said in response to somebody, "Are you retarded?" This is extremely offensive. You may not think so but who are you to take something that people are born with and struggle with, and make it into an insult? I should start making cracks about cancer and other topics similar to that now, I suppose.

I'd also like to address the comments I've seen about who's going to Hell and who is not.

Who are ANY of you to say who will be able to go to Heaven or Hell? Nobody gives a damn if you're a pastor, an athiest, or a member of a Jewish congregation out in England. What you say has no impact on somebody's afterlife, so don't declare "you're going to hell for blahblahblah!" because you don't know if that person is or not. SOMEBODY is going to reply with "Well in the Bible this and that," or just quote the Bible senselessly and robotically, so I'm going to say that once again, God is the only one who knows whether or not He'll allow you to take your place in Heaven or not. So shut the fuck up with your self-righteous attitudes, because you're no better than me or anybody else in this world.

My father is actually thrilled of my being here. He says it's nice for me to be in a safe environment to learn about my religion and not be shunned if I stand up for my beliefs. I'm not married because it's no legal to marry under 18 in my state.

Yes, I am an atheist, I love this band, and i made an account on here just so that i could defend LeATHERMOUTH, Frank Iero, My Chemical Romance, and other bands that have an emo stereotype.
If you are actually a good person, you can see that no stereotype is good whatsoever. People talk about how the girl Hannah killed herself because she was emo, which is not true. She obveously had some issues going on in her head. No Frank Iero did not tell her to commit suicide or to kill anyone... EVER. Frank Iero and the rest of My Chemical Romance have made public statements about not promoting self harm.
I quote, "Suicide is a serious thing. And if you know anyone who is suicidal, you need to get them help. No one should be in pain. Everyone should love themselves. Like I love you all." As you can see Gerard Way does not support suicide/ self harm.
