        Sure, you do.

Does someone compel you to shove your tallywhacker in another man's behind? Somehow, I doubt that.

You act of your own free will.

How would you know?! Are you gay? I dont think so. Sure you could go for another woman (assuming your a woman), that is your choice, but are you physially attracted to men? If yes, your straight.

For me, I am physically attracted to men. Sure I could go your a woman, that would be a choice. But I'm not PHYSICALLY attracted to women, so I would just be hurting myself.

            You choose your actions.

You choose to reject God and worship the flesh, instead of either raising up Soldiers for Christ or being celibate.

Those are your choices, which you make.

Since you don't care about God enough to put aside your own "personal fulfillment" so you can live as He intended -- as His servant, like we all are intended to be -- why would you think He will reward you for rejecting Him?

You have NO idea because you are not gay. It is not a choice! So I could be gay and not do anything about it. Stay single for the rest of my life.
But inside I would still be gay.

Yes, and if you were celibate, and perhaps became a eunuch for Christ, you would remove from yourself the sin of sodomy.

You would not be a Sodomite, condemned to eternal torture in Hell.

However, under your current course, you plan to commit acts of sodomy -- sins -- without repentance.

Repentance doesn't mean feeling guilty and saying you're sorry afterward, it means realizing that your sin hurts God, and stopping it, and never doing it again.

You are unrepentant, and will die in your sins if you continue on your current path.

                  Don't like it?

Tough. Take it up with God. He writes the Law, we just report it.

Really, I don't see why you continue to insist upon being Christian, when clearly you would rather worship a god you make up for yourself. Why not just become a Unitarian or something?

Bull. I do not always think about sex. That would be considered a generalization. Not everyone is the same.

Re: Is it ok to be homosexual?

First off, please don't ban me because I have a different viewpoint, I just want to open up some fruitful discussion.

Being gay is not something that someone chooses to be. Sure, someone's sexual orientation can be affected by social conditions and outside influence, but for the most part it is a genetic difference within people. This has been proven by the fact that many animals (which is what we are) practice homosexuality in certain influences. So don't say gay people choose to be that way. Why would someone choose to be subjected to discrimination and bigotry?

On a different note (excuse me for getting a little of course here), the comment about how Obama deals with Muslims really struck a chord with me. A bad chord. My family recently housed a Moroccan college student who was studying at the local university. Yes, he is Muslim. And yes, he is one of the nicest people I have ever met. So he has a different religion, but he's the same person as you and me. So remember, when you reject another person, you reject yourself as well.

Peace, please don't delete my post or ban me, I would sincerely like to hear what you all have to say.

Thinking about sex with other men is committing the sin of sodomy, because you are sinning in your heart.

It doesn't matter how frequently or infrequently you do it.

Say it with me: Homosexuality is incompatible with Christianity, and also with any of the major world religions.

                            Pun not intended, of course.

Being gay is not something that someone chooses to be. Sure, someone's sexual orientation can be affected by social conditions and outside influence, but for the most part it is a genetic difference within people. Did you bother to read any part of this thread, or just the title?

God's Law. Those who choose to engage in sodomitious behavior are abominations before Him. End of story. He doesn't care why you do what you do, He cares what you do.

God laid down the Law. If you obey it, it shows that you respect and fear Him, as He demands.

If you disobey it, and flaunt it as you unrepentant sodomites do, it tells God you don't care about Him. That hurts Him, and He will torture you in Hell for all eternity.

That's not us discriminating, that's God saying that He has made the Law, and your violation of the Law will have consequences.

How about starting a separate thread for your Defense of Islamofascists, or posting it in another thread on the subject of Muslims? This is a discussion about unrepentant sodomites and why homosexuality is incompatible with Christianity.

                            Thanks!
