Cradle of Filth are not "Satanic Metal" they are actually in a category referred to as Death Metal. I encourage you to do your research properly before you condemn something.

Please don't assume that we support such filth, simply because THEY label THEMSELVES Christian. There was a band that labeled themselves "The B-52s", but they certainly weren't airplanes.

There is no such thing as "Christian death metal". As you have correctly pointed out, so-called "Christian metal" bands are the ones who couldn't cut it in the mainstream (such as it is) of metal "music", and went for a ready market of lip-service Christians who want to retain their entire Satanic lifestyle, with a veneer of Jesus plastered over the top.

"Christian metal" is much like "Ikea furniture". From a distance, it looks like real wood, solid and honest. Even close up, it looks pretty good.

In reality, it's cheap Chinese particleboard with a photographic image of wood glued to it. One good ding is all it takes to reveal the worthless core.

In the same way, the lip-service Christian has a veneer of faith. He wears a "JESUS" ring, he talks about Jesus all the time. The moment his faith is tested, that veneer wears mighty thin.

Did you guys ever think that maybe these bands aren't actually satanists and maybe, just maybe, use the imagery to sell albums and irritate you? I think some of these christian metal bands may just be doing it because it's kinda popular right now.

Now onto my main issue with your initial posts, and proving my prior point of your lack of research. There are bands that are far worse than Cradle of Filth, and yes i do listen to them, and more over, i have spent my well earned money to purchase their whole discographies.
Two of the said bands are Gorgoth, and Dimmu Borgir, and i shall be nice and save you the trouble of having to search through youtube, to find the said bands; here are two of the videos.(see below links)

Finally id like to call into question this redundant statement and vastly huge oxymormon referred to as "christian Death metal". I want to really know why and how your so greatly superior religion can turn such a blind eye to this music? Brothers and sisters in Christ, you all know me. You all know that I hate satan with all my heart. You all know that I'd do anything for Jesus, as I know you all would. You've all heard me shouting, pounding my fist on my King James Bible and foaming at the mouth over the influence satan has on music.
