I'm appalled by the sheer amount of ignorance these people are spouting off. Jesus was clearly not a Jew, for a number of reasons...
1) Jesus was a carpenter/manual laborer. Have you ever heard of a Jew that works with his hands? Nowhere in the Bible does it say Jesus was ever a banker or a movie producer.
2) Have you seen pictures of Jesus? Look at those beautiful Renaissance paintings and you tell me if he looks Jewish.
3) Jesus's last name is Christ, which is not a Jewish name. Had he been Jesus Schwartz, maybe you'd have a point...but you don't.
4) If Jesus was a Jew, then by definition, he would be a liar. So if he's lying, Christianity is not real. This leaves a choice: Either Jesus was not a Jew and Christianity is true, or Jesus was a Jew and it was all just a big scam like Bernie Madoff did.
5) Jesus spoke Aramaic, not Hebrew.
So now will you ignorant folk please let this go? Thank you!
