Wise Pastor Zeke, I must respectfully disagree with your advice to our poor unfortunate new member “Sinking” (What an appropriate name for a young man dating a hell bound JW devil spawned witch woman).

The good Book, in Timothy II, states thusly:

4:1 – I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
4:2 – Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
4:3 – For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
4:4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
4:5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

It is apparent to me that our young Christian brother should do his best to bring his girlfriend into the fold of goodness and righteousness. He should be firm and persistent in convincing his girlfriend that her soul is eternally damned and that she must immediately disavow all belief in that horrible cult that she has been brought up in. If she resists, I suggest that Sinking convince her to come on to this board so each one of us righteous members can take a good crack at this stubborn devil woman.

Of course, if she still refuses to recant, then the kid should dump her like a load of cement! No wretched, evil she-wolf, brain washed Jehovah is worth damning one’s soul over. He must shun her post haste if she refuses to see the light!

Ok,I just called my JW friend to show him what you just linked and he laugh at a lot of those claims...

here is what he said or reacted to:

1. God is not a Trinity; the doctrine is inspired by the Devil - no where in the Bible or in Jesus' teaching does it mention anything about the Holy Trinity, this is an man made invention
2. Jesus is not to be worshiped or prayed to-he is only an angel (a.k.a. Michael the archangel) - they prey in the name of Lord Jesus
3. Jesus Christ is a "created being," who at one time did not exist - well God did create him at one time or another
4. The Holy Spirit is not a person but is "God's active force" i.e. gravity, electricity etc.
5. Heaven is hope only for select Jehovah's Witnesses. The majority of JWs hope to live on "paradise earth" o heaven to select Chosen Ones and paradise on earth for the rest, read the book of Revelations well and you'll see
6. Heaven is limited only to 144,000 Jehovah's Witnesses.There are only 9,105 alive today (2006 figures) - not true, 144,000 Chosen ONES, they were not called JWs back in Jesus' days, that includes the Apostles
7. Jehovah's Witnesses are the only "true Christians." All churches and denominations are considered "false religion" -
8. There is no Hell or eternal judgment ("Hell" is simply the grave) - there is no hell, after death there is nothing, like a deep sleep if you will, until resurrection of course
9. There is no life after death except for the 144,000 Jehovah's Witnesses - not for now, but when God's Kingdom is restored on earth, resurrection will bring back the dead
10. Salvation is earned only by being a loyal Jehovah's Witness - my friend;s reaction what's that all about?
11. Jesus second coming happened invisibly and secretly in 1914 - invisibly yes, but secretly, wow! how can that be when Satan was cast and condemned to the earth in 1914, have you noticed that the world has not been the same since 1914?
12. The "first resurrection" occurred in 1918 - resurrection of the 144,000 Chosen ONES
13. Jesus did not rise from the dead bodily but as a spirit being - true, but he did appear in a bodily form to the Apostles to prove it was him
14. Jesus was equal to Adam (just a man) - not true, Jesus came to break what Adam caused, Adam was "born" perfect, so it took a perfect person to fix it
15. Jesus could have sinned and failed in his mission - not true, Jesus was a perfect being
16. Jesus was not born the savior but became the savior at his baptism - why did angel Gabriel say that he would the Savior then?
17. God is not omnipresent - not true, God is everywhere, he sees all, hears all and knows all
18. God is not omniscient - true, God knows all
19. JWs are not sure of their salvation - Satan rules this world
20. All earthly governments are controlled by the Devil
21. The Holy Spirit is only available to select Jehovah's Witnesses - not so tue, if need be Holy Spirit can be obtained when in dire need
22. They are forbidden to serve in the military - true
23. They are forbidden to buy Girl Scout cookies - true, indirectly Girls scout and boy scout are part of military forms
30. They are forbidden to celebrate any holidays (Christmas, Easter, etc.) - Pagan Holidays to them

75. Most of The Book of Revelation applies to the Jehovah's Witnesses - applies to the last days of the system of things
76. They cannot celebrate Mothers or Fathers day (it may produce pride) - nothing to put any one in glory, glory belongs to God

85. JWs in times of crisis, are strongly discouraged from consulting with family counselors, including mental health professionals who are not Jehovah's Witnesses - ok, why has my friend's sister need to see a psychiatrist then and then consulted a psychologist, which both were not JWs
