    Cell Phones are Satan's Tool

    I was pleased to read that an alum of Liberty University is urging students to stop using their phones. He points out correctly that Satan is using the cell phone for his own purposes. For example, after a student hears a renowned preacher like Pastor Zeke explain a Bible passage condemning a particular sin, the student can tap his phone and see a different interpretation. When that happens, Satan wins. The student is headed for an eternity in fire. Best the student does not open the door to Satan.

    Brother Mayor, we must stop these camera phone from recording the Godly work of ICE removing illegal humans, pet eaters and Mexican rapists from God's own country.
    If I have seen further, it is by standing on the heads of others.

      God Bless you for adding that, Dr. Toole. When the Godly work of the ICE people is recorded then published, it needs to be done by professionals who see the big picture. The public needs to understand rounding up immigrants, and other suspicious people, cuffing and/or responding in dangerous circumstances, is the over-arching issue. The smaller issue of scuffles when arrests take place is not a big deal.

        I'm becoming concerned that the august organ "Christian Post" has been taken over by Communism, Confucianism or even worse Catholicism. Let's pretend to be sociologists for a minute: did Epicurus have some good ideas? Yeaaaah, suure, baby. [WE FIRE UP A HOOKAH WITH LSD]

        Nisbert: I've got this new app for linking Jacques Derrida [French deconstructivist] talking points off of voice recognition, displayed onto my smartglasses.
        Hippolyta: Real gone, Nisb. Can it cross cross-reference Kristeva's [Julia Kristeva, Bulgarian semiotician] intertextual critique?
        Nisbert: Via a cloud-based VM running the poststructuralist database, I don't see why not.

        {ENTER Doctor Toole, representing NAKSHATRA}

        Nakshatra: These crystals will channel your energies rather well. Have you read Marcuse?
        Nisbert & Hippolyta: (together) —No!
        Hippolyta: We were about to discuss Michel Foucault [Parisian phrenologist] thank you, Naksh.

        {Random GIBBERISH ensues}

        Nakshatra: (annoyed) —Have you read, I said, HAVE YOU READ MARCUSE?

        {They spontaneously HUMAN COMBUST.}

        Ok, that's unlikely in Liberty's Office of Spiritual Development right now. But could it be where they're heading? Post-poststructuralism is a thing after all and very insidious. So when I read the following, I do become concerned.

        Amid growing concerns about smartphones' impact on focus, mental health and spiritual life, Liberty University has rolled out a 28-day challenge throughout February, inviting students to step away from social media, online shopping, and entertainment to deepen their connection with God and others.

        Coordinated by the Office of Spiritual Development, the university’s second annual Digital Rest initiative provides participants with a 54-page Digital Rest Guide featuring Scripture readings, devotionals and reflection prompts. Students are encouraged to log out of social platforms, delete nonessential apps, and engage with the guide daily on weekdays. The university also placed 300 Brick devices — tools that temporarily block social media access — in residence halls for student use.
        1. I do not use "social media" if I want to communicate with someone I go there in person.
        2. Under no circumstances would I buy something without having seen it first.
        3. Entertainment of a secular nature is anathema to any Christian if not outright demonism. And who wants to be demon possessed? (Other than Foucault, Kristeva and Derrida.)
        4. Fifty-four pages seems hardly enough for an introduction, let alone a Scriptural breakdown of error in these respects.
        5. A "brick phone" aka dumb phone does not "block" social media access. Its proper iteration renders access impossible, like using an egg whisk to initiate nuclear fission. It simply does not have the capability.

        Why they need any sort of smart- brick- or dumb- anything is beyond me. They are not there to "hook up" or discuss crackpot theories or to "network" but to learn. From the tone of this reporting, however, I remain concerned that The Christian Post may have some leaven at work, influencing editorial policy and especially affecting language. Some words really never should be heard, let alone understood, during the formative years of Christian education.

        Thank you for keeping us up-to-date with your examples.

          Well, well, well — there certainly is no end to the trickery of Satan, dear Brother Mayor Hold. We should not be surprised, though, because the blessed warns us of this!

          I Peter 5:8 "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:"

          I cannot say that I am surprised, though. I have never trusted these newfangled gadgets. And judging by the number of times I have seen people walking down the street and talking into their cell phones — all while paying no attention as to where they are going — it only confirms that Satan has been working overtime. You could not pay me to have one of those gadgets! I don't trust them. And, Mother's 1930s phone works just as nicely now as it did back then. As a matter of fact, here is Mother placing a phone call from way-back-when. There is no way that Satan is going to infiltrate this!

              What she needs, and you need Mr. Fag, is to put down your cell phones and stop the sin. Satan feeds anti Jesus information into that phone. There are fake historians saying Jesus did not feed loaves and fishes to the multitudes or walk on water. Put you cell phone on the floor and stomp on it. Shout, "I rebuke you Satan."

                I fully agree with the Mayor of Landover on this one.

                Besides, the only tablets a follower of God should hold are there:

                  Thank you for posting that picture, Father Romeo. I have always marveled at the strength of physical condition of Moses. Somehow, he was able to carry by himself those heavy stone tablets all the way down the mountain.

                      Well, I am amazed, Mr. Fag, that you can fit reading the Bible into your life of sin. May I suggest even more Bible, less sin. Repent, my friend. Rapture is near.
