The question is: Who is God's children? The Bible provides an answer.

John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

To those that accepted Jesus Christ, God made them His sons (children) because they believe in Christ. So here is a definition of God's children as a Christian.

1st John 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

This was addressing a Christian community. Notice how the words are "now we are the sons of God". Obviously they weren't always the sons of God, but only became so when they converted to Christianity. Only Christians are the sons of God.

Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

Those that are led by the Holy Spirit are God's children. Again, one must be a Christian to be God's children.

So yes, God (and I) love Christians. Unsaved trash like you are another matter altogether.

especially the king james which i refer to as the hippy version because of its overt message of love and kindness to one and all of gods children.

2 Timothy 4:1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
