Friend, I am sorry to inform you that you are gravely in error here. The NIV introduces many subtle, but heretical, doctrinal changes. It was written in a very calculated manner to ensnare the unwary, and to trick people out of Salvation. Don't take my word for it. But I also know that since I've repented and surrendered my life to Christ and try my best to live that out each day, does.
I never said I re-write the Bible.
But there's nothing wrong with different versions of the Bible either, like NIV or The Message. They're not re-written to better suit our lives, they're re-worded to better suit our language. It's the same thing as a teacher wording a lesson differently for a student who didn't grasp the concept from the original wording.

There are more differences than translation between the NIV and the KJV1611. The NIV is based on a document found in the trash of the Mt Siena monestary. Do you really believe as a Christian that God's message to His creation would be lost in the trash for a thousand years?

Landover takes the King James Bible and puts it into practice 100%.
We don't just pick out the namby-pamby bits we like or re-write the Scripture to suit our lives.
