    Seriously, What's the Deal?

    Dear Brothers and Sisters:

As I was driving home from visiting relatives in Leipsic Cemetery, I almost hit one of those dang horse and buggy contraptions, slowly plodding along Route 109!

What's up with the Amish? Why do they rebuke electricity? Are they mired in Satan-worship? Do you have this problem in Iowa??

    Re: Seriously, What's the Deal?

One time, there was a horse and buggy operator in front of me. After I went past where I thought he was, I did not see him in my rear view mirror. Come to think of it, I never saw that buggy or that guy again. I guess he wised up.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

      Q. Why do they rebuke electricity?

      A. Because they're too cheap to pay their electric bills!

            Sadly, it gets worse.

They are now so interbred amongst themselves, that they are all now condemned to the curse of consanguinity; the resulting plague of deformities and tardation amongst their infants is increasing steadily. And it is the rest of us paying for their medical care as their communities are dirt poor because they shun the very technologies Christ has gifted Godly America with.
Jud 1:15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are unGodly among them of all their unGodly deeds which they have unGodly committed, and of all their hard [speeches] which unGodly sinners have spoken against him.

Worship: Hard work, mules, horses, and Satan.
Trivia Fact: The Amish think that they are saved through hard work and eschewing God's gifts of electricity and modern technology. If God didn't want us to have electricity, He wouldn't have made lightning out of it, and He certainly wouldn't have told Thomas Edison how to make electricity by rubbing two magnets together.

You know, I used to think that Wal-Mart was one of those really pro-America type corporations, what with their anti-union stance and low prices. But lately it seems that they have caved to these homegrown terrorists that call themselves the "Amish"

Instead of having one more parking spot for the super-sized SUV that is so desperately needed, they give space for parking 5 more mule-drawn carriages? What's with that?! How much profit can these bearded carriage-monkeys generate -- do they even believe in American money? It sickens me.
