Why would you even think that we care what a lesbo atheist does. We would care if you found Jesus and stopped your sinful ways

Oh, well, too late; my girlfriend and I went to Buddhist meditation yesterday, anyway. Oooh! How evil! </sarcasm>
Afterwards we spent most of the afternoon playing Anarchy Online. That's evil too, right?
Whatever; that's how a couple of atheists spend Easter Sunday.

Re: Buddhism can be compatible with religions?
Boodism is a cult that worships demons. Their main deity is an obese chinaman who kept his devotees confused by teaching a lot of nonsense and talking in circles. Meditation is a portal to demonic possession and should be avoided at all cost.
The "compatability" of boodism with "other religions" is irrelevant. God wants us to worship Him via His religion, as practiced at Landover Baptist Church.

Re: Buddhism can be compatible with religions?
Well, that pretty much says it all right there, doesn't it?Truth is, Buddha didn't teach either for or against any religion. He didn't say God exists or that he doesn't exist.
Psalm 14:1
The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.
I think the best therapy for you would be to ponder what Jesus did for you upon that Wondrous Cross. A big part of your problem is that you obviously don't care about the welfare of your soul after you die!

Lots of people inaccurately call themselves Christians. That isn't news to us, dear.Originally posted by Spaghetti Monster View PostSee, that's the thing. Buddhism isn't a religion to me, so I worship nobody because of it. In fact, there are even Buddhist Christians out there.
Also, I clicked on your link and was shocked. That page includes a blasphemous image showing Christ and the Buddha as equals. One of those people may or may not have ever lived, and in any event, believers later mythologized his life to build a religion that he would not recognize. The other is the only begotten Son of the Father.

Crank Old Man,Originally posted by Cranky Old Man View PostThere are people worshipping spaghetti out there. That does not mean it is sane. Buddhist Christians spit in the face of Jesus and they will burn in hell for that.
This Spaghetti Monster person is actually one of those spaghetti worshipers. They follow a religion called The Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster: http://www.venganza.org/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flying_Spaghetti_Monster
It's very sad.

Turn your back on Jesus you're going to burn. Do not follow false idols.Originally posted by Spaghetti Monster View PostSo, I've been seeing a therapist for some psych issues I've been dealing with. I've been looking up information on the therapy I've been working on and I've found that some of it is actually based on Buddhism. Meditation, mindfulness, calmness, things like that; they're all part of my therapy and all are basics of Buddhism.
So, naturally, I started learning more and more about Buddhism. In fact, I found out my girlfriend is Buddhist and another mutual friend of ours is Buddhist. Yet, I've also found that Buddhism isn't really a religion. Truth is, it's probably closer to a philosophy. Truth is, Buddha didn't teach either for or against any religion. He didn't say God exists or that he doesn't exist. In fact, from what I've seen, you can easily be Buddhist and Christian both at the same time.
As for me, I'm moving more and more towards Buddhism but I'm still agnostic. Does that make me more doomed to hell?

You don't say?Originally posted by Spaghetti Monster View PostSo, I've been seeing a therapist for some psych issues I've been dealing with.
Yes. As an agnostic, you only nail Jesus to the cross twice: once for wishy, and again for washy. However, as a buddhist, you are worshiping an obese man who was so fat he became incapacitated underneath a bodhi tree, and couldn't move for quite some time. This sloth makes a mockery of our Saviour©, Who maintained a muscular, fit physique via woodworking and walking around a lot. JESUS does not suffer a fatty gladly. Therefore your sins are greater as a buddhist than as an agnostic -- but both the buddhist and the agnostic will be thrown into the lake of fire, make no mistake about that.As for me, I'm moving more and more towards Buddhism but I'm still agnostic. Does that make me more doomed to hell?
