    Help me!

    Hello. I have a serious problem. Can you help me?

    I was raised in an atheist family but I want to believe in God. They learned me to question everything and I eventually realized that God is a delusion. How that I have grown up I realized that God exists!

    But how do I believe again? The Bible is full of logical fallacies and the evolution makes much more sense.

      The first thing you have to do to be a True Christian™ is to hate your atheist family who made you believe in evolution and other things that automatically makes you a worshiper of Satan, you also have to hate yourself for being an ex-filthy evolutionist.

          WanttoBelieve.... your first step would be to remove yourself from this place of lies and deceit. Matthew here has pointed you to a verse in scripture that is a hyperbole and not to be taken literally as he has. Around here you will find nothing but twisted scripture to fit their means.

              Prove it. It's very common for liberal false Christians to dismiss any part of the Bible that they don't like as "not to be taken literally."

              Around here you will find nothing but twisted scripture to fit their means.
              Explain in detail how we have twisted Scripture, as well as the correct meanings of those Scripture passages that you think we've twisted.
              This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

                  lmao, delete my post that proves you all are full of it... I LOVE IT!! I might stick around this site now. Maybe make an intro thread to warn anyone else joining this place thinking its a sound biblical christian site to stay far away. Could just spam all the forums with the truth about LBC? Whatcha think?

                      All hyperbole verses just like Luke 14:26.
                      don't misunderstand Jesus and think that I have got to hate my father, and my mother, because that is just the opposite of what the gospel teaches. The fruit of the Spirit is love. And if say I love God and hate my brother, I am a liar and the truth is not in me. How can I love God who I haven't seen and hate my brother who I have seen? Then what does Jesus mean, unless you hate your father, mother, brothers and so forth? That is in the language a comparative.Your love for Jesus Christ must be supreme. It must be greater than your love for your family, your home or yourself, because it may cost you all of these things to follow Jesus Christ. And for many of those people it did cost all those things. Following Christ did cost some of them their families, their family relationships. For they were ostracized by their families when they made their commitment to Jesus Christ. And the same is true today. Many people have found it quite costly to follow Jesus Christ. It cost them their family relationships. But Jesus said if you are not willing to give up these family relationships, you can't really be My disciple. You have got to love Me more than you love any other relationship that you have. Your love for Me must be supreme and every other love must be subservient to your love for Me.

                          Be wary of false Kumbaya Christians who use a highlighter and scissors to read the Bible. God wants us to read the lines, not between the lines. False Christians will go to Hell:

                          Matthew 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

                          Asking a Christian to prove God exists is like asking him to prove his phone rings because yours doesn't. Make that call yourself! Dial 0800-get-on-your-knees-and-pray.
