  • Are you still saved?

If a person is saved and then finds their path wayward from God and turns to paganism are they still saved even if they contimplate on God's word and that of the left handed path?
    Exodus 22:18
Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.

    Re: Are you still saved?

    Hello witch,

You fear the Church of the Christ, as do all who sin, for the Christ, peace be upon him, is the Word, and he is the Light, that all evil men do reject. Every one who loves sin hates the Light, and does not come to the Light, for the Light reveals the true self, and exposes the sinner, and so they hide from it.

For in the Christ, peace be upon him, dwells all the fullness of God. And we are complete in him. And the fullness of God is wisdom, and God is all seeing, all knowing, and most wise. And he knows. And none shall come to God, but by the Christ and the Light. And all who reject the Light shall not come to God.

The time for you to repent is now. Love and submit to your God, or he shall hate you, as you hate him,

God is jealous, and the LORD revengeth; the LORD revengeth, and is furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies.
The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.
He rebuketh the sea, and maketh it dry, and drieth up all the rivers: Bashan languisheth, and Carmel, and the flower of Lebanon languisheth.
The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein.

Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him.
The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.
But with an overrunning flood he will make an utter end of the place thereof, and darkness shall pursue his enemies.

    ~ Nahum 1:2-8

God is quite clear that he hates you and your ilk,

When thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.
There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,
Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.
For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.

    ~ Deuteronomy 18:9-12

That is right: God hates you. Why do you invoke his wrath? Do you not love your God?

Destruction will come for you, and you shall seek peace from it, and there shall be none. None of your kind shall be spared, come the Last Day, unless you kneel before your Lord, the Christ, and purge your unclean soul of foul witchery, in his blood. Repent for your transgression, witch, or yours is the Lake of Fire, and the second death, which will not end,

He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

    ~ Revelation 21:7-8

Seek salvation in Jesus, and submit to his will, and you will find redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace. None come to God, but by the Christ, peace be upon him,

Jesus saith unto him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
    ~ John 14:6

I will pray for your soul.

    Respectfully.
Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight,
O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.

      Re: Are you still saved?

'paganluv', here are a few verses for you:

      Joshua 24:20
20If ye forsake the LORD, and serve strange gods, then he will turn and do you hurt, and consume you, after that he hath done you good.

That is saying that even if you follow God, as soon as you turn your back on him and start dabbling in unrighteous activities and false religions (paganism), he will hurt you and devour you - even if before, when you worshiped him, he was good to you.

      2 Kings 22:17
17Because they have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other gods, that they might provoke me to anger with all the works of their hands; therefore my wrath shall be kindled against this place, and shall not be quenched.

Once again, turn your back on God and he will bring down wrath upon you. 'This place' means wherever you are - he will find you (he is the Almighty God after all) and destroy you. Nothing you can do will save you then ('my wrath... shall not be quenched')

      Judges 10:13
13Yet ye have forsaken me, and served other gods: wherefore I will deliver you no more.

Same thing again (see the pattern?) - forsake God and you will not enter Heaven - he will 'deliver you (to Heaven) no more.'

Ask yourself if it is really worth suffering the wrath of God and eternal Damnation in the fires of Hell, simply to serve false gods and engage in a heathen religion.

i do not fear the lord i even read the bible occasionally. i often wonder why he forsakes so many souls and leaves them in their own darkness this is why i turned from him. Does he really hate his children so much? and what bible does the book of Nahum come from it is not one i am familliar with?

Pagans are not children of God.

Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

Nahum, peace be upon him, was a Prophet of God. The book of Nahum, one of The Book of the Twelve, is in every version of the Holy Bible that you will find.

                Witch,

You seem to be under the delusion that God has turned his back on you. You will find only that you have turned your back on your God. Of all things, you have broken the FIRST Commandment: Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

God sees your transgression, knows the sin in your heart, for he is most wise.

Your arrogance is astounding. We all face trials and tribulations in life. It's where we're going afterward where all accounts will be settled.
Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

Yes, it is much easier to give up and wallow in self pity, than it is to face your inner demons and repent for your sins. Many of your ilk choose the easy way, for they have no integrity.

For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.
