    Martin Luther was rightly offended by the Catholic heresies, but that does not give the right to commit his own.

    While Martin Luther got a few things right (The Jews and Their Lies springs to mind), and we certainly find common truck with folks that are anti-Catholic, the Lutherans are essentially just a personality cult and the whole concept of personality cults has certainly been done better (well, worse if you catch my drift) by folks such as Joseph Smith, L. Ron Hubbard, Shoko Asahara, and Reverend Moon.
    well that is what happens when things, like the Bible, are changed to meet the times.

    Leaving Homer Pastor Churches in the Dust



    This is yet another story of a chruch leaving the Evangelical Lutheran Church of American over the issue of homers becoming Pastors. This church is in Minnesota.

    We all know, of course, about the large number of churches that left the American version of the Episcopal Church when a gay Priest was ordained.

    It is comforting to realize the Landover Baptist Church does not have to leave any "demonination" over the issue of homer preachers. We are already there. Landover Baptist is the future. We're leaving homer-Pastor churches in the dust.
