    Re: Why are Lutherans a cult

    They shall never perish.As long as they believe and are baptized. This scripture says nothing about falling out of faith; it does not address this issue here. As previously addressed we can fall out of the faith. Maybe you should read the bible.
    "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned." Mark 16:16

    Learn to read what's written (both here and in the Bible), please.

    No. They believe that a person once saved, can fall from grace. According to the Bible, that's just not so.

    John 10:28-29:
    And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
    My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

    Romans 11:29: For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

    Pastor Billy-Reuben
    You cannot fall from God's grace (according to the Bible). Therefore, if you disbelieve now, you never really did, and never were Saved(tm).

    WAIT WAIT WAIT WAITHOLD UP FOR A MINUTE
    Lutherans do not believe that the wafer becomes the body, and the wine becomes the blood. we believe that the body is in and with the bread and the blood is in and with the wine. Matthew 26:26, "And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body."

    Please make a thread of your own in the "Introductions" section of the forum, so that we can properly greet you. Tell us about yourself, your church, and how you came to find Jesus.

    And if you're here to flame us, better take a look at THIS before making an even bigger ass out of yourself.

    I will pray that the Holy Spirit enter you and chase the demons out of your rectum and let Jesus fill you with His Grace. If you use your God-given free will to reject Christ and His temporary death on the cross for my sins, then you are sending yourself to hellfire.

    The LORD Himself tells us that all Scripture is Divinely Inspired, and as such it is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right (2 Timothy 3:16). Why do you think He would give us such a vitally important source of information only to require men to decipher it? Wouldn't that give men the advantage of duping simpletons into doing whatever they want? Don't you think God would have seen that coming?

    I have one question for all of you. If you think the internet is bad, why do you use it for your forum?

    What kind of useless God would leave a book that needed explaining?

    Why read a man's foolish and sinful attempt to correct God, rather than reading the actual Holy Word of God?

    Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven;
    but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
    Matthew 7:21

    And the sea gave up the dead which were in it;
    and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them:
    and they were judged every man according to their works.
    Revelation 20:13

    And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
    Revelation 22:12

    But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
    For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
    Matthew 12:36-7

    For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels;
    and then he shall reward every man according to his works.
    Matthew 16:27

    And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life;
    and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
    John 5:29

    Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?
    James 2:21

    For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ;
    that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
    2 Corinthians 5:10
