If Solomon isn't the author of Ecclesiastes, then he has gone to Hell. The death of solomon is recorded in the book of 1 kings and the events in that book occurred around the 9th and 10th centuries BCE. Ecclesiastes was written around 250 BCE (much earlier than the book of kings). Nowhere in the book of Ecclesiates is there proof that solomon was the author except for (Ecclesiastes 1:1) "son of david, king in Jerusalem" passage. Solomon could be one of the many people in the old testament that has gone to Hell. Even if he did wrote ecclesiastes, it was before he turned away from the lord; (not after) It was after ecclesiastes, he got into Idolotry and marrying foreign women, whom God commanded not to intermarry with.
