Now I can't tell if these people were killed BECAUSE they insulted their god by dis-obeying his commands, or if GOD killed them because they really are heathen idol-worshippers. but the investigation is still underway.
INDIANAPOLIS – An act of GOD may have caused a van carrying passengers from an Amish community to flip over on a highway, killing three children and two adults, police said Monday. Eleven others were injured in the crash.
Police said no other vehicles were involved Sunday when the van veered out of and overturned, and the roof of the vehicle was shorn away, as if a giant hand had reached inside.
Witnesses saw the roof of the van cave in before the crash occurred, and police said in a statement that a preliminary investigation of the roof confirmed those observations.
It was not clear at first how many people had been riding in the van, as survivors gave conflicting counts of 15, 16 or 38 passengers, Indiana State Police Sgt. Rod Russell said. Police and other rescuers searched for additional injured people until they got tired of searching.
"It's a pain in the ass, is what it is, when you have a situation like this," with ejections and multiple Amish hats all over the place, Russell said. The victims should have hailed a cab, police said, “They didn’t and now they’re dead. Troopers believed that the van may have been taking people home after a church function and that GOD was annoyed the heathen Amish were praying to false gods.
