When I warn someone that they are going to Hell, I don't say it with glee. I make that statement with all of the solemnity that it deserves.

We don't condemn anyone. People condemn themselves. Out of love, we warn them that they are condemning themselves. Would you have us do otherwise, and not warn them of impending doom?

Yes you should warn them, but I also believe that isnt all you should do. I see to many people so boldly 'warn' others of their doom and then keep going. This will usually just cause conflict. I think if you are going to confront someone about their beliefs, befriend them and take a passive approach.

And as for the FAQ... I suppose im stepping out of line according to the purpose of the forums, but I figured I should atleast put my 2 cents in for those that earned my respect.

As for the blind and deaf man walking down the street, this is a good example. But I wouldnt just stand and watch, but i wouldnt condemn him for walking in the street after I 'shoved' him either. He couldnt help it.

Still speaking symbolicly, a blind and deaf man cant help that they are blind and deaf, correct? People can not help where they are born, and what they are born into. You cant expect someone who has went their entire life being taught a certain belief to convert the second you tell them they are going to hell. You have to show them love and compassion, and I dont feel any love in '"Your going to hell!"

Well, that was interesting. I'm going to have to digest all this for a while before I can figure out what we've all just learned.

I guess my frustration with the state of the Middle East is that I know these people can do better. They did great things as Christians, as Zorastrians, even as pagans and Jews. It's only when they started to base their entire worldview on the rantings of a pedophile that things went downhill.

It's not like their Black and can get away with the racial inferiority excuse. Christian Blacks work very hard to overcome their limits, they use every bit of their little brains to remember how to obey laws and such. I can practically hear their little brains ticking away "Fried chikken....allowed to eat....peepul....not 'lowed to eat..."

But Middle Easterners have no excuse because they're capable of more. I mean, even when the Egyptians followed a pagan cat-worshipping cult they still managed to build some pretty impressive fake mountains. If they were Christian they would have just moved to a place with real mountains, for the sake of efficiency, but as Muslims Egypt hasn't achieved a thing.

And now they want to export their failure to our countries.

I cannot understand how such well spoken folks can defend their faiths use of religion as a means to kill those who don't believe in their imaginary friend. It makes no sense in the 21st century. The religion is a death cult. It's a well spoken(in English writing, not spoken or in the Hellish Arabic) and intricate death cult. Most Muslims are polite but harbor hatred in their heart for all things non-Islamic. It's just sick.
Not like the sweet religion of Jesus the one true Son of God. He believes in Saving the innocent and relieving the planet of only the dregs so we who believe have more to enjoy without worrying about being raped by a gay or accosted by a Catholic. Clearly it is the superior faith and all Muslims would be better off accepting Jesus and converting to a real religion like Baptist.

I know that the Quran is the word of God because the Prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him was illiterate, and yet the Quran is recognised as the greatest arabic work of poetry ever written.

You are not thinking for yourself. You are only regurgitating apologetics that have been fed to you.

You don't know that Mohammad was illiterate. There is only hearsay and tradition that says he was illiterate.

Mecca was a thriving business center in Mohammad's time and the vast majority of the population was educated. Mohammad was a successful businessman before he became a religious leader. It is highly unlikely that Mohammad was illiterate.

Does that make you wonder if there is anything else you believe that isn't true?
