Jesus Loves Cockfighting; Liberal Southern Baptists are Wrong

I get all up and bothered everytime I hear someone say the Southern Baptist Convention is conservative. The truth be known, it is an enviromentalist, animal loving liberal denomination, something like the United Church of Christ.

If ever there was proof that it is liberal, today's news carries a story the SBC opposes cockfighting. Not only do they oppose it, a spokesperson says Jesus would have opposed it.

This is certainly not what the Bible tells us. We know animals were placed on this earth for the single purpose of serving us. Those of us who enjoy betting on a good bloody cockfight, even if we have to drive into rural Iowa sometimes to find one, are encouraged by the Word of God to do so.

They are even more liberal than the presbyterians and should be dealt with in all Severity by JESUS for giving us Godly Landover Baptists a bad name

Next thing you know, Churches will be giving Money to the Congregation instead of the other way around. As is Proper.

Don't be surprised if some God-mocker comes in and claims, "But Jesus said you shouldn't play with your food!"

To which I, for one, will respond, "I don't eat cocks!"
