Actually she said it was a mistake, and that everyone makes them. Which is very true. I am prone to them myself. And as I said, if it was an honest mistake an apology should still be forthcoming.

I, however, don't think it was an honest mistake for the reasons already stated.

If an apology is made forgiveness will be given. And I will never mention it again.

As to whether I am unsaved trash or not, just because you boards assign that title to newcomers it doesn't actually make it the truth. Oh, wait I see the flaw in my argument: truth. I think you have made your opinion on truth and honesty quite apparent.

The issue of honesty and truth is related to an earlier part of this thread where I was wilfully misrepresented by another poster, and accused of being a fascist and a racist bigot. I am of the opinion that this is dishonest and think that at apology should be made. In this context your post appeared to imply that dishonesty was perfectly acceptable since it was only me "unsaved trash" who was slandered and the dishonesty was on the part of someone of far more importance. I hold honesty in much higher regard and my response to you was rather flippant. If I have misunderstood your intent I am sorry. At no point did you lie.

The equation of godliness and honesty seems implicit in the quote.
